Hi Everyone

We are heading to POR in August and my cousin will be joining us for a few days. She is American and therefore doesn't have the same dining/ticket combo as us and will be making her own arrangements for park hoppers. I know that it won't be a problem for her to stay in our room as there are only 3 of us and that I just need to add her at checkin. My questions are:
1. How do I add her to our MDE and therefore book her fast passes to coincide with ours? Especially as technically she has not purchased accommodation and therefore may not be able to book hers until 30 days out, whereas we can book ours at 60. Has anyone managed to sort this out previously?

2. In an ideal world we would love her to get magical express from the airport, but as far as I am aware I cannot add her to the booking before checkin as her package is not the same as ours and therefore she wouldn't be able to get ME because she again, doesn't have accommodation. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you sort it out?

Many thanks for any help
Suzanne

She will not be able to book until 30 days out, at which point you can try and copy your FPs to her if you are linked on MDE. However, tehre are no guarantees.

She will not be able to get MDE if she doesn't have a resort reservation, which she won't.

Also note that if she's the 3rd adult in the room, Disney will charge an extra adult fee when you check her in

that's going to be $15 per night at POR ($10 at values, and $25 at deluxes

At one of my stays a few years ago, I added a guest. We were able to get paper fast passes to match ours at our Hotel desk.

Oh no, I spoke to Disney a few weeks ago and they never mentioned that, I just assumed as it was a room for 4/5 it was the room itself we were paying for rather than per person.

Thanks

occupancy merely says how many guests can stay in the room

but it has nothing to do with pricing

if you do simulations on WDW website, and change from 2 adults to 3, you'll see the impact on th eprice

no charge for children, only for adults #3, #4 and so on.

you will also find this information on our "sister site" http://www.wdwinfo.com/disney-resorts/port-orleans-riverside/
