Checking in 24hrs with SWA???

I have a bit of a problem. My 24 hrs ahead of my flight time I will be sitting eating at Boma at AK. Now we are staying on site but not AK but POR. If I go to customer service in AK will they let me check in though I'm staying at POR. I've never been to AK and Boma and my family is looking forward to this dinner and I would hate to cancel it because of booking at the 24hr mark for my SWA flight.

Can anyone help me????

I can't imagine the front desk at AK not helping you...but if it would make you rest a bit easier, why not give the hotel a call and ask them how they would handle this? Another alternative would be to give your information to a friend and ask them to check in for you. I think there are also some services that do check ins for you, but I don't know how kosher those are or how much they cost, if anything.

AKL front desk will check you in. They will also print the boarding pass.

I would get there about 30 minutes before the actual time to have them do it. i just checked in. I did two checkins at the actual time, and by the time I got both enters pushed I was 16 and 22. If you checkin any more that say 1/2 hour late you may get a B. I think it is because of all those checkin services. I had one of those services,but I beat them with my checkin,go figure.

If you have a Web-enabled cell phone or other portable device, you can check in from your table at mobile.southwest.com too. No need to print the passes, just "reprint" them when you get to the airport.

Another idea is to have someone back at home check you in and then print the boarding passes when you get to the airport

That's what DH did recently, had his mom check him in--we were on a WISHES cruise at the check-in time--and then had BW guest services print the BP.

I've got boarding passes at Yacht Club and Beach Club when I was staying at Boardwalk. They never asked which resort I was staying at. I just happened to be there for meals at the time of check-in.

Wow, thanks for all the advise. This is our first time flying with the kids and with SW. I would feel better with having AK do it then my mom back home in Canada. I will just head to the customer service line in AK and stand in line. If I do get there early can they enter our boarding pass or do you have to be exactly at the 24hrs mark. For eg: they start to do the boarding pass at 5:55 and the 24hr mark is 6:00. Will it allow them to add us? By the responses on the boards they won't.

We stayed at CSR last year. We had our SW boarding passes printed at the Contemporary Resort, front desk before our dinner at the Concourse. It didn't matter that we were staying at a different resort, they were very friendly and helpful. Just be sure to bring all the necessary info with you.

But, how do you stand in line at guest services and have them check you in right at the 24 hour mark? What if you are too early or too late due to the line?
