Checking Cases of Propel Water on Plane

We are flying in on Delta and my husband and I are both cutting way back on drinking soft drinks, both diet and regular, and I'm afraid I won't be able to buy enough water on our grocery store stop for our 11 night trip. We like to drink Propel in the large 24 oz. sized bottles and I thought I should buy two cases of 24 or maybe three cases, and just check them as luggage, since there will be 4 of us, we can check up to 8 items @ 50 lbs. each. I just know most grocery stores only have a few dozen bottles on the shelf and of course then we would have oodles of plastic bags full of bottles vs. sturdy cardboard boxes. Seems silly to take my own water but I love this stuff, it tastes so great and even at 1.07 per bottle it beats WDW prices. Will the airlines think I'm nuts?

I know that it's heavy but why don't you have it shipped to your resort. That way you don't have to deal with the hassle of transporting it to the airport and then transporting it from the airport to the hotel. That sounds like a real pain to me. My advise if you want to take it on the plane with you is to call the airline. I just think that a bunch of cases with strange liquid in it (just think of how a screener would look at cases of water) is going to arrouse a bunch of suspection.

I've never had propel water. Is it good. I want to cut back on soft drinks myself but water gets very boring!

sharbear, Give it a try, it doesn't have an artificial sweet taste like Fruit 2 0. Propel comes in Lemon, Orange, Berry, Black Cherry, Strawberry Kiwi and Peach. I like them all except Peach. Black Cherry, Orange & Lemon are my favorites. I try to buy on sale but pay full price otherwise because I like it so much.

Each case would be about 36 pounds so shipping via UPS for 2 or 3 cases would be expensive.

I wonder IF any of the local grocery stores deliver? Perhaps I could check with the specific store Florida Towncars stops at and make sure they carry it and have an adequate stock.

I bought Lemon Propel water today at walmart. I hate that artificial sweet taste that most diet drinks have so I hope that I like it. If not the kids will drink it, they'll drink anything! I hope that you figure out your problem.

I was just looking on the net grocer website and they do sell propel water, $1.29 a bottle. Depending on where you live you could have 3 cases shipped to your resort for 15.99(east coast) or 25.99 (west coast). If you live in the eastern part of the US, I think that 16 dollars is worth it not to have to hassle with transporting the water. You could also order snack food and have that shipped to the resort. I know that people have boxes shipped to their resort, exp. those with babies (formula and diapers).

The grape is the best. Husband loves the black cherry.
