Checking Availability

Good morning!

Would anyone be willing to check DVC availability for me? I'm thinking of renting points for our October trip, but would like to know what's available before spending too much time looking into the process.

The site does not allow us to check specific availability. As to availability historically at five to 6 months out for Oct, you should expect to find that most resorts and rooms are already full, although possibly you might find something at SSR, OKW or AKV Kidani. In general, if you intend to rent a DVC reservation, you need to to find someone to do so before 7 months out and for some things even 11 monmths out.

It's not permitted per board rules. Even if we checked, it is subject to change.

I am willing to tell you flat out that you're about 4 months too late to rent points and book studios in October.

The problem is, what is available now, may not be available 5 minutes from now, and we don't know how many units of a particular type are available, it could be 1 BLT studio or 30 BLT studios.

As other posters mentioned you can't ask that because even if they check the availability could change in a minute. Your best best would be to contact davids dvc and let them know what you are looking for. they can let you know what is available and if there is available points to book. Oct is very busy so with that -- booking this late in the game might leave you with nothing or very little options.

Be open to other options - you may want a studio but if none available then you might have better luck looking for a 1 BR, be open to different resorts.

Prior to becoming a member we booked a NYE trip just about 2 months out -- I used Davids but they only had 3 nights at SSR of the 6 nights we wanted so we took what they had and booked a room through Disney for the remainder of our trip. So be flexible and see what you can piece together. The DVC rooms are nice and spacious so even if you can get it for a portion of your trip go for it.
