Are there any size or weight restrictions for the luggage that we have checked at port? Instead of checking two bags, I was only planning on bringing one, but it is 30" x 20" x11". Is this going to cause any problems? Thanks!!

Good morning dchfnp.

A wise idea since Florida isn't a Mormon state - polygamy is illegal...

If you are flying I would be more concerned with what the airline regulations for checked bags are. Many of them are more strict with weight limits these days.

If you are driving, then I would think you would be alright. You would definately have to have a porter check it for you at the port, though. DCL will not let you bring a bag that big on as a carry-on since it will not fit through the carry-on x-ray security machine.

We will be driving, so there are no airline restrictions. Plus, it has rollers, so hopefully the porters will not have any problems getting it onboard. I was more concerned about the size of the x-ray machine for the checked luggage and whether or not it was going to fit!!
