Would anyone know if you can check in a suitcase inside another suitcase?

I have done it many times b/c we always end up with souvineers to bring home. I pack the smaller and put it inside the larger.

You can even carryon a suitcase inside a suitcase, presuming it is within size limits.

If you don’t want to bring another full suitcase but want another way to bring back more than you take get a travel duffle that zips in into its own little pouch. I like the ones that have the loop on the back to attach it to the luggage handle to make it easier to carry on your wheeled luggage. We got a couple of these for our trip to Japan and put the breakable stuff in our carryons and all the dirty clothes went in the duffels to be checked for the flights back home. Little zip ties or clips to keep the zippers closed so they don’t pop open when being manhandled in the checked baggage area I think are a must too.

Do it every trip to WDW. Usually a carry on size inside a medium... got to have a way to bring those popcorn buckets home.....

Not aware of any restriction regarding putting one suitcase inside another. When they xray your checked bags, they are more interested in things considered a safety risk for the flight. I would assume some people take an empty bag to have room for the things they plan to buy while on vacation.
