When I checked out on 8/25 I looked at my bill and it seemed a little high so I asked the front desk person to recheck my bill. She gave me the nightly rates and we both added them up. There was a $223 discrepency. The cast member (Alma) was great. I cannot express how courteous and professional she was. Especially for being 5am. She took a long time with me trying to find the problem.
The nightly rates were all correct, but only added up to around $700 dollars but the bill was for 925. After a few minutes, Alma found the problem.
I was in the 100 loop. But the 100 loop was supposed to close for renovations while I was there. So they were going to move us to the 700 loop in the middle of our stay. When they didn't move us, They still charged us the 223 for the "upgrade" to the 700 loop that never happened.
I told Alma that I didn't ask for an upgrade, so why would they charge me the additional money, even if I did end up moving. She said it was a matter of accounting. I was not actually supposed to be charged the higher rate. Only on paper, then they were supposed to adjust the reservation before billing the credit card. It was some type of clerical error.
Alma fixed the error, credited my credit card the 223 dollars, and I was on my way. So make sure you check your bill if you are offered a free upgrade. Make sure it ends up being free.
AND YES, I am the same guy that had his golf cart charger stolen the night before ! This trip was a one problem after another for us !!! I bet they were happy to see us leave.

But it was cool to see the expression on my buddy's face when we pulled up to this gargantuan lodge like we were at Yellowstone!
