check your adr's

Just to remind people you might want to call the disney dining line to double check your adr's. I called today to try to change the time for one of our adr's and I asked the cm to go through and check all my adr's to make sure I had the right days and times. One of my ressies was screwed up because a cm had put it on the wrong date! I would not have been happy to have shown up and have the restaurant tell me that I didn't have a ressie until the next day!

Checking my ADRs is a must for me so I always call and confirm to see if everything is right with the date, time, and the number of my party that is dining with me.

I am definately taking your advice because since WDW dining is implementing this new dining system, there is always a bigger chance for screw ups. Thanks for the heads up!!

Don't worry...they will honor your reservation either way. We had the wrong day written down for one of our reservations and they still seated us with no problem.

I called today and they told me they were only taking reservations for Chef Mickeys and Cinderella's Castle due to a change in the reservation system. I think she said they are only taking reservations up until January 2009. Has anyone else experienced this?

yes..they took adrs 180 out til the middle of Aug, for dates good the Jan 25th I believe...they are revising there computer system and will start taking adrs past Jan 25th again in mid October I believe (rumor has it that we will also be able to make ADR's online after this) but that has not been confirmed that I know of

as for checking our ADR's the Concierge at AKL sent us an email with our itinerary for our entire Dec stay and all our ADRs as well as tours were listed...I double checked them with what I had and they all matched perfect

You might have good luck having them ADR's honored so long as it isn't a prepaid ADR liek HDDR. They loose that confirm number intheir system and you are out if luck, you'll be told to make a new ADR. Eventually you will get refunded the prepaid amount if you can prove you paid for it. Best hing to do prepaid or not is to check your Adrs before you leave

Yeah well I checked and they had Ohanas only for 3 people when I booked it for 4....all my other adrs are for 4 people so there was a mistake. Problem is the restaurant is booked that whole day so now I'm stuck. The girl on the phone told me to tell them what happened when we check in an hopefully it will be ok. No way am I missing this meal..I will sit on the floor and eat there if I have to lol.
