we have early seating . what time must we be there to eat breakfast what are other options? is there a walk up buffet?
whats the latest to eat and leave?

Breakfast for early seating is at 6:45AM in the dining rooms. You eat breakfast in the restaurant you ate the night before. There is a limited breakfast in Topsiders (coffee, pastries) if you just want a quick bite. No room service last morning. Disembarkation can start as early as 8AM and most people are off the ship by 9AM.

Everybody MUST be off by the latest, 9:00 am. You must be out of your stateroom by 8:00 am.

I didn't realize you had to be off the ship so early. I thought it was closer to 11 a.m. Our flight isn't until 5:10 p.m. We're driving back to the airport. Would stopping at Cape Canaveral kill enough time or are there other things to do?

You could spend time in Cocoa Beach--go to the Ron Jon store, the beach, eat a relaxed lunch, etc. You will want to allow enough time to return the car and check in, so you probably won't have as much time as you think.

I was also wondering about the time we had to leave the ship. Our car service person mentioned we would have to be off between 8:30 and 9:00 but in the passporter it states...guest with late seating have breakfast at 8:00. and that the last guests debark at 9:45am. It also states Shutters is open until 8:30 on the last day. So is the passporter incorrect about being off the ship @ 9:45 or what.

We just got off the Wonder. Early seating is at 6:45. Topsiders or Beach Blanket have a full breakfast buffet. You need to be out of the room by 8 am. The ship was cleared around 8 am and everybody is off by 9 am.

Personally, we just always go to the morning buffet around 7:45, have a slow buffet, fill out their comment cards and than head down at 8:30 to disembark.

If you have kids, they will enjoy the Cape. It's well worth it and an easy way to burn half the day.

where did you eat? i am confused as some posts say topsiders is
danish etc only please help? we have transfer to airport but our flight isnt till 8 pm

One option could be the Kennedy Space Center. There are some interesting exhibits/tours there. I don't know if you'd have quite enough time to get the most out of it...

Here's the address if you want to check it out:

Depends on what you mean by "late." If you arrive at 6:55, even 7:00, probably no problem. But if you arrive at 7:30 you probably would have a problem. Don't forget that the serving staff needs to turn the room over to prepare for the 8:00 breakfast for the Late Seating group.

It's the one breakfast that's not open seating.

In 10 DCL cruises I have always been told everyone must be off by 9:00 am and have seen it enforced. I do not know where the Passporter heard 9:45 am but that seems very late to me.

The staff only has a few short hours to turn that ship over for embarkation by 12:00.

Well..That sucks. I went from what the passporter stated as to the time for our pick up. Even when they (the car service) asked...I confirmed that we wanted 9:30 pick up. :( I guess I could check on changing it...but I don't think I can...I've already recieved my confirmation.

Remember that if you do the 8 a.m. breakfast, by the time you eat, do the last restroom stop, get off the boat and get your bags, go through customs, you will probably be pretty close to the 9:30 a.m. pickup time.

The Navigators all say 9 a.m.

If you are wanting pics from Shutters, I would go early in the morning, as it is very hectic and busy in there with people getting photos and those going through to breakfast.

We had late breakfast, and did not get to have our last meal with our wait staff because the early seating folks showed up late, too late to be served at early seating. Our wait staff told us they are not supposed to let people in who arrive more than 15 minutes late, in this case, they were supposed to be there at 6:45, after 7 am they were supposed to be turned away. We were moved to another open are, so we got to eat, just didn't get to say the final goodbye to our waiter and assistant waiter.
I think on paper, Disney wants everyone off by 9 am, but it all depends on the crowds, customs and immigration.
We were on the packed 12-27-03 Eastern. It was a 45 minute wait to get off the ship. We ate at 8 am, got in line at 8:30, and got off the ship at 9:15. The last passengers didn't make it off until 10:15 am according to folks we talked to at the airport.
Once off the ship, finding the luggage, clearing customs and immigration, checking our luggage with American Airlines, and getting on the DCL bus took only 10 minutes. But it was a mess getting off the ship.
