I am staying at Poly and have a reservation at Ohana's at 9:40am. I am going to need to have my bags held because our flight isn't until that evening. Anyway, my question is should I check out before our ressie, or will we have enough time to eat, then go back to the room to clean up and check out? I will definitely be packed up already, just last minute stuff like toothbrushes, etc.

Since Check-Out is at 11am, I would probably do it before O'Hanas. Then you can take your time and enjoy yourself during the character breakfast, rather than worrying about checking-out. :flower3:

Check out before you go. The transportation between WL and the Poly will take you quite a while if you are using Disney's boats or busses.

In fact, I'd check out before you leave for breakfast *and* take a cab to the Poly. It will be a three minute cab ride vs. up to a 45 minute boat/monorail trek.

Thanks for the advice. I am actually staying at the Poly, that's why I thought I would be able to do it. I didn't know if check out was at 11:00 or 12:00, but you guys are right, this way I am not staring at my watch.

Good lord. I need to go to bed! Sorry. Too many threads, too few brain cells.

Hahaha Ginny....

I just got the girls to bed myself....I re-read my original post because I certainly could have typed it wrong too. My brain cells are already on vacation, the rest of my body still has two weeks to go!!!

Ok, the usual questions:

Boys/girls/one of each?
identical/fraternal?
How old?
Who's the good one? - Just kidding - I really hate that one ;)

Fraternal boys just turned 6 on Sept 7th. Plus a 9 yr singleton boy too.

We're arriving at the Poly on Sept 22nd. This year we're doing O'Hanas for dinner - we did the Lilo & Stitch Breakfast last year though and it was great! Similar to you, we'll be doing breakfast at the Poly (Kona) on our day of departure, checking our bags, and then leaving later in the afternoon for our flight.

When is your trip?
Your twins are girls?

We are leaving Sept 29th through October 5th Yeah!!

My girls are fraternal too - one blonde, one brunette, so it is REALLY sad when people ask us if they are identical!!

They were 2 in April. We went last year the same week and they did great, so we are hoping one year older, one year even better. We did opt for Poly this time so we could be on the monorail. It wasn't fun last year holding two sleeping babies on the bus with the stroller, diaper bag, other bags, etc...

Have a great trip!!! We are going to Kona too for our first time for dinner! Can't wait!!

Happy B-day to your boys!!

Sorry...but I've got you beat on that one! My two DDs, one red head...one brunette...I was actually asked if they were twins...one is 7 and the other is 11!!!???? Talk about dead brain cells! :lmao:

Wow!! I could see if they were two years apart, but 4?

Unless it is a sweet little grandma with thick glasses asking, there is no excuse!!
