check on AP rates

Just called. Not yet. Only AAA rates. $790.00 for the Contemporary standard view for my dates!

Asked if I was eligible for a e-mail discount for October-December, that friends of mine had gotten them, and the CM said that they are sent out in batches and I should be receiving one, probably in the next batch. Yeah, right. Said AP discounts should be out by the end of the month.

I just did the same myself. I called to pay off another couple of nights and mentioned the email discounts. I got the standard, "The marketting department selects who get the discounts, we have your email on file, keep an eye out" response.

grrrrrr.

Im beginning to believe that all of that info that they go through EVERY time you call (how many times have you been, name, address, dna sample) is just to insure that they DO NOT make an offer to me. If they have my life history, then they know how to avoid giving me a good deal.

I think I'm suffering from APAD-Annual Passholder Anxiety Disorder (yes, not too long ago, I was also diagnosed with RAD on another posting ).

I'm betting on tomorrow...

My "natural" alarm clock is now set for 6:00am, and I watch the clock until 7am each morning (sorry to those of you on the west coast getting up even earlier!!)

I see you've developed the "natural" alarm clock too! haha Mine's set at 4am! Stinks to live on the west coast right now.

That was last year's date. She probably got it off Mousesavers.

For those of you watching mousesavers, she has her last update as 8/2/04 but nothing new since yesterday. Could that mean that at 7:00 the discounts will be listed. Crossing my fingers.

well...just called & the CM laughed when I asked if the AP rates were out yet for Nov.

She didn't even have to check as that was the same question the LAST caller had asked.

Maybe we can wear them down & the codes will appear???

I called too. I decided that I was just going to change my standard room at the WL to a woods view a apply azz for sept and of course now they dont have anything available and NO AP rates. It's driving me nuts.Oh well, I guess waking up and being online and on the phone at 7am continues.I sure am tired.

The CM I spoke with this morning said "You know, someone called for Oct. rates and those aren't in. You're looking for Dec. and usually rates aren't released until 6 to 8 weeks ahead of time. "

I asked if I were eligible for the postcard rate, and that was a "no" too.

She said that the AP rates should be great when they do come out.

...but as for the 6-8 week thing...I can't even imagine waiting until then if that were true! I'm going to have faith that rates through Dec. will be out SOON!

I figured AP rates weren't coming out today. The people who received email post cards weren't suppose to be able to book until today. I took a chance and slept until my 2 year old woke up.

I do think it is looking good for us also looking for late Fall rates. They will probably be released with the next batch of AP discounts. Since APs are released after a discount mailing, hopefully we will all be happy in about 2 weeks.

Does anyone know when the email discount expires?

I just got off the phone. The CM laughed when I asked about the Sept AP discounts, then apologized and said she has been asked that question all morning! (think it's any one of us??!! ) She surprised me when she went into the computer to check, even though she has already checked this morning. Her words to me.............."we expect them at any MOMENT!" She even encouraged me to call back at any time as the codes have been released during the day as well!!

Could this be true?!?
