I guess I feel a little responsibility because I started this new thread ( maybe that's silly) but I just wanted to say how happy I am that this thread is staying positive, supportive of each other and in the spirit for which it was intended!:bounce: :bounce:

I just spoke to a CM and was told they were pending in the systemI asked if it was AP or general,He said it could be both and laughed. He also said they have been known to come out on Sundays,So just thought I would Pass it along.

I don't remember WHERE I read it, but I had read that they will NOT be Annual Passholder rates, but general rate codes - for anyone to use.

Don't know how accurate that is.

Here's continuing to hope that there's SOMETHING! :)

I called this morning and spoke to a very nice CM (I recognized her voice as I have called there quite a bit! ::yes:: ) She told me that yes, they are pending and it should be 'any day now'. She told me, and these are her words, that she suspects them within the week as they (WDW) are asking CMs to work overtime this coming up week. :teeth: She doesn't know whether they will be room only, APs or discounts for just the month of Sept., but SOMETHING is defintely coming!

Arrggghhh! Does anyone remember what the AP rate was for the Ft. Wilderness cabins last year? Just curious!

We were in the cabins last October. I have the exact rate at work so I can tell you better on Monday. But from memory, it seems it was about 150.00 a night.

I'll give you the exact on Monday unless someone else knows between now and then.

C'mon AP rates!!!!

Oh please oh please oh please let there be AP rates for October!!! I can't stand it anymore. Please let them come out Sunday, oh please oh please..:hyper:

Is there any chance of releasing them later in the day or do they always release them first thing in the morning/overnight?!? :hyper:

I had a question, are the reservation centers open on Sunday? If the discounts are released on Sunday, can we call then or do we have to wait until monday to call. I know I'll check my papers travel section tomorrow to see if there is any info. Come on codes!

Yes, they are open on sunday! Start dialing at 6:55am or so to get through. I am sure we'll all be on there!!!

About a week ago a CM told me that he expects both AP and room only codes for the general public to come out for fall because bookings for the 7 for 5 package they had out were alot lower than expected. But who know... sometimes I think CM are just speculating like we do. But... for all of those who want general public codes as well as AP codes, I will keep my fingers crossed and sprinkle some pixie dust for all of us who are waiting and waiting and waiting. I slept in this morning and didnt call until 8:15. Knowing my luck... if I dont call at 6:59 am, they will come out... but that didnt work either. So, I guess I will be on the phone at 6:50 tomorrow morning with the rest of you. Now lets all chant.. come on codes, come on codes, come on codes... Heck... I dont know what I would do if Disney ever started to announce discounts early. This waiting and waiting and waiting and speculating has become an annual event and part of vacation planning in my household! :D :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Just spoke with a CM and she said, "no AP rates for my visit, only available thru 8/28." She was short and sippy and didn't even search. She immediately told me that there were none available. At least you can tell when some CMs are trying to help.

I hope tomorrow is the day!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Today's my birthday, I was hoping for AP rates so we can upgrade to GVC at the Poly. Maybe I will will upgrade anyway? :teeth: Want to get the upgrade in before the 90 day mark. I hate calling and making PS's.

on my part anyways. I read a very interesting article that pertained to DISNEYLAND not WDW. It was all about AP's and how they actually hurt revenues at that resort. They are now actively trying to curtail AP purchases at DLR.

I have to wonder if MAYBE they are offering less and less in the way of AP discounts to curtail it at WDW too. No AP room discounts means hundreds if not thousands of people would go back to buying regular hoppers therefore generating more revenue in their eyes.

Just my own musings, not looking for a fight, just thought it might help pass the time while we.....

Dance the time away

The New York Time Sunday Travel section for 7/18 has only the old code that is good until August. :(

We are looking to squeeze another trip out of our APs in November.
