My CM was messin' with me...she asked me to verify my address after I ask her about AP rates, then she said "You're in the right place at the right time!" So I was thinking "OMG-the AP rates are finally out!!" Then she says "your address matches up." Oh well...

Awwweee, now that was just plain mean......:(

I get Disney Insider, but alas NO email codes!!! :(

Me, too! I've also never gotten a snail mail AP newsletter and I activated the passes in Febraury.

I certainly hope that the AP rate code that HOPEFULLY might come out Sunday will be valid thru our check in date Dec. 22. Last year's ap rate was valid thru check in date of 12/26. I know that according to mousesavers that room only codes expire before Christmas week. Any insight into this?

I have my fingers crossed for this. We check in on December 21. I hope they'll have AP rates or a general code that can be used for check ins pass December 19.

We got our e-mail yesterday (actually my mother got the e-mail), DH and I went to WDW last year, and I have been many times in the past. My mother, however, has not been in 20 years. Everytime I call I make sure and tell the CM that I want this trip to be magical for my mom since it is her 1st time back in 20 years and she is coming with all 4 grandchildren (6, 4, 2, & 2).

When we got the e-mail and called there were no rooms at WL available at that rate. The CM started checking other resorts and there was availability. I had my heart set on WL since we are traveling Dec. 4-8. I want to see WL at Christmas time. While the CM was looking certain rooms that were available were not anymore, so I asked him to check WL. He did, and we got it: courtyard view and 2 connecting rooms (total with tax $1222).

I AM SOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:Pinkbounc

Should we have gotten a recent AP newsletter? I activated ours in early June...

When we activated ours (back in December) we were told that we probably wouldn't get the first one but we'd get the next one. That held true for us so I'd look for one in a few months. You can read them online too even if you are not a passholder. :)

I spoke with a more reasonable cm yesterday. I made one change to our exisiting reservation and asked about AP rates. Rather than saying "soon" or "within a week" or something she said "I could give you my speculation but that's all it would be. They aren't telling us anything right now and my speculation has been wrong already so I'll just say 'I don't know' and recommend you check back once a week. OK?"

has anyone checked the disney ap website lately? It appears that disney may be changing the way they make the discounts available. I just looked at the August '04 edition of the Mickey Monitor online and it urged passholders to look at the website as several offers had been posted there. So, maybe the discounts will be posted tomorrow as that is the first of August....

I can't get into the passholder section of the website to check for discounts. I've tried my # and my son's, but neither works.

our passes expired, and all I have now is the vouchers. Hopefully, someone who can access it will post their findings:D

Well things may be looking up for us I hope, I spoke with my AAA agent yesterday afternoon and she told me that WDW's attendance was really low and now they were trying to get more guests down there. That is why they re-released the Play 4 days passes again and changed their summer blackout period for their seasonal passholders, I would like to think that this would also warrant them to give out some kind of extra room discounts and Ap and Fl resident codes. My AAA agent also said that she expected for the ap and resident codes to be out soon, also the Cm I spoke with said to look for them soon....Not like we didn't already know that!! Again....about that postcard rate, my grandfather recieved one yesterday and told me about it. He has never even been to WDW, and the only coorespondence he's had with them was when I ordered him the planning video because he was thinking of going with us. The Cm said he would have to be present at check in for me to use his postcard. Makes no sense to me, I guess you have to skip a few years and wait to get called back with a postcard rate. Its a no win sit..you don't want to wait and they won't give you the postcard unless you don't come back for a while, they should offer a guests rewards program like the grocery store cards or the cards you get points on at the casinos...........Not possible I'm sure.

Just been in the Passholder section...nothing new Im afraid...Im hoping if I keep logging in they may remember to send me a e-mail!! :(

As for what is currently on the Passholder site, nothing new for WDW resorts. It mentions savings on DCL, Vero Beach and Hilton head and the AP discounts expiring end of August. The only other new stuff is on a passholder preview of the Stitch ride (no details yet) and a description of the ESPN weekend

We activated our APs in December and just recently got our "welcome to the Passholder family" letter (we had already made 2 trips on them so it was a tad late). It too mentioned checking the site for new discounts and said that "many" of them will be released only online.

While I understand that they may be releasing some AP discounts only online, what about those of us who only have the vouchers? I don't think that is really fair. I've spent the money for the AP but since it isn't activated I can't access the site. Not good. :(

I have an activated Ap and can't access the site, so you're not alone in your frustration :( Ever since they 'improved' the passholder website it's been nothing but trouble ::yes::

I have ressies for 10/8-12.

Continental just changed the return flight plane from a 737 to one of those 60 seat "regional jets" (2 1/2 hours on one of those :( ).

Maybe it's a clue that attendance is really down and there will be a good AP rate.

Kitster, I contacted Disney about not being able to activate the passholders area. They told me that they are "aware" of many AP passholders having difficulty. They hope to have it fixed soon!

They need to do something for people who hold the vouchers like myself. We have already paid the $ for the passes, we just haven't activated them.

Here's hoping for October AP rates to come out soon ... :earsboy:

well i have a fl seasonal ap and i am able to access the passholder site but there is still no mention of fall discounts yet:(
hopefully tomorrow we have better luck
