This will be the first time we have used our points with other family members.

My husband and I own the DVC membership and have a reservation at OKW for a 2 bedroom, but my mother and father will be arriving before us and I was wondering if they could check us in without us being there?

Yes, just have their names added to the ressie, and they can then check in for you. Be sure you do your own credit card info though, if you want express check out or charging privledges.
