Check In ?????

We are going to the RP.... my ? is, when we arrive, I know someone will take our bags, and bring them into the hotel, got that, but, do we leave our car there, check-in, then self park??? Where is self parking?? or does DH go park, then come back inside, and then we check-in? How far is it from the lobby to parking?? I know these ?? may sound silly, but with 3 kids and luggage, I will need DH to "help" while checking in. Thanks.....

Hi! We just got back from staying at the RPH from July6-10th and we drove up front and they unloaded our luggage infront of the hotel and gave us a ticket that held our luggage untill our room was ready. And then we could decied if we wanted to self park or valet park. We self parked it was very close most of the guess self parked, Only the parking was self serve, so if you leave your space it will be filled when you get back specially if it was in the front row. It was close so it wasn't bad to park anywhere in the parking lot. It looked like the only ones to self park while we were there was people with really nice cars!

Thanks.... When they took your luggage and gave you the ticket, did you go check in at that point, or did you go park first?? Just trying to figure out if we can leave our car while we check in...... then go park it! Sorry if this sounds nuts, but I'm just wondering what the procedure is. Thanks....... I know, I'm obsessing.......

Hi,

When we pull up to Royal pacific...I jump out and go get in line to check in. Hubby waits until the guy comes with a cart to unload the luggage...then he valets the car. (at that point...your hubby would circle over to self parking and park). The attendant who meets you at the car will ask if you want to valet or self park.

Then just have hubby meet you inside. Take the kids with you...the lobby is beautiful, nice places to sit, things to look at, and the check in lines usually are not long anyway. They have a large counter, fully staffed, it goes very quickly.
