check-in?

We're driving to Orlando on Saturday, June 4th. Will be staying at a DTD hotel that night. We plan on hopping out of bed that morning and checking in (cabin). How long will it take us to drive to the Fort from DTD? How long will it take us to check-in? Is it helpful to do online check-in? Finally, I assume we won't be able to get into our cabin. Do we just leave our car (fully packed) near check-in?

We'll be going directly to MK. Will we take a bus to the dock and then ride the ferry to MK? Let's say we're out of the hotel by 7 am, what time would be reasonable to expect our arrival at MK?

Sorry for all the questions. I'm starting on my touring plan. Planning in unknown environments is very overwhelming to me... But I KNOW it will be worth it. Can't wait to see the Fort. I've never been before!

Depending on the resort, it's a least 10 minutes.
That road in that direction is not a bus route, but Mnsprk, you're correct otherwise. Drives me crazy.
