hi. So, as part of DME, I've had to attach a credit card to my account. When we check in, will they use the details on my account to put the CC onto my magic band or will they need another one to swipe? Also, do they take a certain amount to credit the band?

You'll need to physically present the card at check in (the one attached to your mdx or whichever card you wish to use)

You have a room tab with a limit of $500 in values, $1000 in moderates and $1500 in deluxes (default limits, you can ask the cm at check into modify this limit)
Nothing is charged or held on you CC until the night of your checkout or until your limit is reached, whichever comes first
You may request to pay part or all of your balance at any time using cash, cc, gift card or any other accepted payment method

Once you settle your balance, it gets back to $0 and you get to enjoy your full limit again

If you complete online check in you can select the card that is linked to your charging privileges. Doing this the last couple of times the check in CM has just confirmed the card type and last 4 digits to me and hasn't actually swiped the card.

My experience was the same as Elises's last trip. They confirmed my account CC and did not swipe it.
