Check in on last day of discount?

Hey All!

I tried searching and checked on mousesavers for the answer to this question, but no luck after 10 minutes of searching.

Discount ends the same day I check in - do I receive the discount the length of my stay? I know that used to be the case but I haven't booked a WDW vacation for awhile!

yes the discount applies to length of stay.

That's true for Free Dining, but not for room only discounts.

OP, if you're doing a room only discount, you would only receive the discount for the days that fall within the promo. So, in your case, you would only get the discounted rate on your first day.

I'm not sure which way Stay, Play, Dine works, if you're looking into that option.

If the discount is for FD, then yes, you will get FD for the whole trip. If it's a room discount, that will be date specific and would only apply to your check in day, with the rest being at rack rate. I'm not sure if the S/P/D carries through the whole time if you check in on the last day as we've never used that discount.

I called about the Disney visa S/P/D package today. I already have a booking with the Fall Room Discount. I wanted to see if I could get a better deal. I am there 12/18-12/24, checking in on the next to last day of the S/P/D discount. I was told right away that after the 19th are blackout days, and that my discount would end after that. I decided to keep what I had, since that discount carried through my whole trip. We all know how it can be when you call Disney - someone else may get a different answer to the same question.
