I hope you had agreat trip Sue. How was POP? or was it all-star?

We had a great trip, thanks for asking J.J. This was the first time we've been to WDW when it was so busy. We definitely took advantage of the a.m. extra magic hours. This morning we got to Animal Kingdom at 6:45 for 7:00 opening. It was great because not too many people were there. We did almost the whole park by noon and were leaving as thousands of people were arriving!

How was your trip J.J.? Was it as busy at DL?

You said you were going to WDW too right? We asked for the second week in June!!: My oldest DS is starting HS and any other time besides summer would be hard on us too!!!

Yep, we picked WDW. We picked the first and second week in June as our first two picks. We picked July as our third option. Yes, once they start high school it is super hard to go during the school year. Thankfully our daughter who is in high school decided not to continue cheer leading because their competitions were always in July and they had mandatory practices in June. Then we would have been in a real pickle! Wouldn't that be funny if we were in WDW at the same time???????? What hotel did you pick? We chose the Grand Floridian followed by the Polynesian then the Contemporary.

Thanks, I was only posting here out of excitement. I certainly wasn't intending to rub it in anyone's face. Now, If I can be brave enough to do a trip trip report! I love to read trip reports but have never been brave enough to write my own. It is really cool that all the Disers are winning! I hope you win too! Winning the cruise would be awesome too! I have always wanted to go on a Disney cruise but they are so darn expensive!

Those trip reports are great to read and live each moment as if you are there, but I have to warn you don't start one if you can't finish, some of the people on here will go ham on you. Good luck with getting started on your TR

Oh, and the Pop was good. We're so used to camping in our travel trailer that it can't really compare. There's nothing like going to Disney and sleeping in your own bed! Still, the Pop was good. We'd stay there again if we needed a hotel room.

When texting do you always receive a response back from Disney like when you enter on line, it will say congratulations on entering? I texted today for the first time but did not receive any response back (my phone did say message sent). Just hoping I was entered for today

I hadn't heard back from Disney yet, so when I emailed Ventura to ask if they knew anything, they just said that it could take 6-8 weeks to process everything. But that doesn't mean it will take that long, many have already heard back and were able to start selecting their hotels and dates of travel.

Good for you! Don't worry it shouldn't really take 6-8 weeks.
For me it was only 2 weeks after we decided which park. . . . but it did feel like 6-8 weeks!

Thanks for your comments. That makes me feel so much better. I can't wait to start selecting dates! It was so hard deciding between DL and WDW. Almost chose WDW since there are so many Deluxe resorts that I would love to stay at there but we really liked the idea of DL since we so rarely get to go and since Cars Land is opening soon. It would be so neat if we got to stay in the Grand Californian but I'd also like to eventually stay in the Disneyland Hotel since I've never stayed there and they just renovated. This is all so exciting and seems like a crazy dream!

Every time I have texted, I have always received a message back stating:

"DisneyOnline: Congrats, you're entered for a chance to win One More Disney Day. Check out disney.com/memories. Msg&data rates may apply."

While I always get a response back on my phone, sadly I never see the FedEx truck .

I also always get a response, and it's usually not immediate, but within 5 minutes. The other day, it took almost an hour before I got a response, though. I was so torn...should I enter again??? Or will that get my entry thrown out??

that we would not normally be able to stay in!!!

Whenever I get my letter I'll probably be picking Grand Floridian first, then Animal Kingdom, then Polynesian. We'd like to get a resort near MK, as that's our favorite park, but I love the Animal Kingdom Lodge! But I agree, any deluxe would be fantastic!

I enter by text and always receive a text response from Disney. I enter every day, but so far no Fed Ex truck. We won a trip back in 1996 which is when my obsession with the Poly began.

I just got a call from Fed Ex saying that they will be delivering a package that needs to be signed for tomorrow. They gave me a tracking number, but I couldn't write it down. The message said it would repeat if I pressed any number...but it didn't. I called the number back and it was Fed Ex, but they couldn't find a delivery scheduled for my address. : (

No one will be here tomorrow until 3:40- delivery ends at 4:30. UGGG. I wonder if it is it, or something mundane. My stomach hurts and I don't think it is a coincidence. Oh, well...her is hoping for the best.

definitely WDW! We've been to WDW once before. Coincidentally just this morning we were talking about how awesome that WDW vacation was, how much we wanted to go back, but that sadly we wouldn't be able to afford it for a few years... it wasn't an hour later that our FedEx guy showed up! pixiedust!!
