Can anyone tell me what the area code would be if they were trying to contact you by phone to tell you that you were a winner and what the Caller ID came across as? Sorry if this was already posted.

It's area code 212 if they call you. I didn't get a call, so I can't answer the caller ID question.

I can't wait to get my ticker going too. We always do a countdown chain with the kids that we hang on the fireplace. I think we are going to make a new kind this year. There have been some super cute ones on Pinterest lately. The one I want will require a few Mickey Head paint cards from the Home Depot though.

Where did you find them on Pinterest? What was your search term? I found cute Minnie invitations, but can't find a countdown.

First... missed a call from a 213 area code. I know... not the right area code, but I saw 2...1 and my heart skipped a beat.

THEN... I came down stairs to find that a package had been delivered from FED EX!!!! It was the same size box that I received with DVC info. At first I thought it was the dvc infomation box...and thought maybe someone had taken it out to look at for some reason (who knows why my kids do anything) Realizing it was still sealed I about had a heard attack. Then saw it was addressed to my dh and not me. (he only entered a couple times) and then saw it was just from Texas Instruments.

I think I need to find a new hobby.

I can't remember how I found them but I put the one I liked on my Disney Board. If you want to pm me your info I could add or request to follow you if you want so you can see it. I think thats how it works, I am new to Pinterest. Also if you google search images of Disney Countdown calendars there are tons of really cute ones to use as an example.

For those of you entering on-line, are you asked to log-in each time? I am only asked to log-in once a week or so. Every other time I hit the "enter now" button and then the "Congratulations, you've been entered" message appears. I'm worried that it can't be that easy and that a whole bunch of my entries have not been valid.

I am often logged in on the Walt Disney World website. That may very well be the reason that I'm not required to log-on every day. I was just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience.

I have had the same experience although not as often as you. I am also hoping that means an entry has gone through.

Soooo, I get home today and can see from the street that there is an envelope stuck between the screen and front door. Whooo Hooo! I was in heaven until I remembered that our mailbox was run over and is laying on the ground waiting for DH to fix.

You are definitely going to find out quicker than most of us (lucky you ) but IF the tour service is offered, which I personally doubt, that tour runs $150/hour, so with the $500 cap, you won't get a very long service. The real question about the prize is does it mean $500 total or $500 per person?

Just curious... let's say a tour guide is included. I'm thinking that you would tip this person and I'm wondering how much you would tip someone that makes $150.00 per hour?

Do you think it is better to do it by email? Does it ask more info so they have more info do get in contact with you if you do win? How is everyone being notified if they've won? I entered online only, never thought to text. My address was updated on the Disney sites, due to my DMR account, and booking a Disney trip through the WDTC. Make sure your address is up to date. If you are texting, I believe they call your cell phone to get your address. JJ can probably talk about how that phone call went. Otherwise, if you are entering online, you can either get an email asking to verify your address, or you just get a FedEx delivery, hence all the stress when FedEx drives down the street.

The winners are posted online after the signed, notarized affidavit is returned and the winner is confirmed by Ventura Associates. Your name won't just appear on the website. You will know you are a winner before that happens.

Hope I have better luck than with the Disneyland contest I won. They had a question contest where the first 40 people who sent in the correct answer to disneyland question won a free night in a Disneyland hotel. I got back an email saying I had won and no one ever contacted me. Yes, it was an official contest and came from a disney address and no personal information was shared.

I won by texting. They called me first and when I didn't answer they texted me. I think either way is effective. I thought texting was easier since the website kept crashing on me. I was able to give them my information over the phone and my contact at Ventura emailed me the info. I sent my paperwork on a Thursday, they received it on Friday and confirmed me as a winner and by Tuesday I was on the website. Good luck! I hope we get some more DIS winners.

Yep I got one too which concerned me since I text my entry everyday. Maybe they aren't counting it.

Since they are asking me to "enter now" can I enter twice today?
