Actually, when I read the rules carefully (ok, I used to be a proofreader, so I tend to pick up on this stuff) I noticed that it seemed that perhaps in posting the rules some phrases or punctuation were omitted.

Filling in the missing parts, my conclusion is that one name is drawn each day and then one week's worth of winners are formally named about three or four days after the end of that one-week period. That would give the person who was picked on Day 7 of that week time to receive their overnighted paperwork, get it notarized, and then overnighted back to Venture.

As for posting the winners names on the website, well I think it is just a matter of getting the info from one department to another and then that department needing to do other things before adding the winners' names to the site. Eventually it all gets done, just not as fast some of us expect.

So I am sitting here, playing with my 11 mo old daughter and I hear something...Fed Ex truck leaving from my drive. I cannot believe I actually felt a little nervous...I headed to the garage to find my 2 large cases of diapers I ordered that weren't due to be delivered til Friday. So glad I waisted some heart palpations on Pampers!!

I'm just guessing that they will update that website but a few times during the whole contest, simply because they're worrying about other things haha. Plus they may not update it until they get another big chunk of winners, so it may not be until the end of January or something until we see new names up there. But that's just my personal guess, who knows

When I won my Europe trip (thru GE appliance) I thanked the lady who called and she said "no need to thank me, each entry is given a number and yours was the number drawn"
Wonder if the same applies here to this daily winner.

For the ones who have won trips to Disney in the past...

when you extended your stay past the the days you have won, how does Disney charge you for the extended park tickets?

for example
lets say you, win the current give away and want to extend it by 2 days. Do you have to pay full price for the tickets or the difference between the package deal of 5 days and a seven day ticket price???

I've never won a trip, but from what I understand, any ticket you have whether you got it free, discounted, full price 5 years ago, full price yesterday, etc., once you've used it the first time, you can upgrade it for whatever the price difference would be if you had paid gate price that day for the original ticket.

I've never won a trip, but from what I understand, any ticket you have whether you got it free, discounted, full price 5 years ago, full price yesterday, etc., once you've used it the first time, you can upgrade it for whatever the price difference would be if you had paid gate price that day for the original ticket.

This is not always the case. I am a TA and have gotten comp tickets for both WDW and DL from conferences and the like and NONE of them were allowed to be upgraded or have days added on and they did expire, even if unused. They were considered to have no value.

I have no idea if it will be similar tickets given to the winners or not.

I'm sorry, but this just makes me laugh. Sounds like something off of a Seinfeld episode. I'm just picturing George at the McDonalds counter being denied his muffin by some 16 year old kid behind the counter because he didn't answer the question correctly.

Am i the only one getting the "Sorry, a communication error occurred", message when they try and enter?! Reeaallyy gettin frustrated! I'm in charge of entering about 4 family members and I just started 2 days ago and I'd really like to get entered!! I'm getting nervous!

I too just heard UPS rolling through the neighborhood, I literally held my breathe! I grabbed the dog and ran outside. A neighbor was out their washing his car and he gave me a look like . This damn contest is bad for our health, I swear! Does anyone else feel like it's making your hair gray? I swear I think about it about 18 hours a day (I get about 5-6 hour of sleep at night)! Since I'm in the process of planning a trip for fall which I think about non-stop, this is making me crazy!
