I'm confused then. I am the adult that would be accompanying minors. Or do you mean there's something specifically in the rules that state a non-relative minor would have to have their own parent accompany them? That seems like a silly thing. I would think all I would need is a letter of permission or something from the child's parents. Hmm.. I'll have to take a look at the rules later.

Of course, this is still daydreaming on my part. Need to win first!

Looked at the rules and it says minor must be accompanied by his/her parent/legal guardian. I do think Disney would not mind as long as there is written permission from the other child(ren) parent(s).

But in any case, if we were so lucky, then our family of 4 would take the trip and we would pay for the 2 girls to come with us. Whether we pay for the 2 girls or my husband & son - it works out the same. Thanks for the heads-up!

I wouldnt worry too much about it, in my experience it was not an issue, like Disney explained to me, they have no idea whose child is whoms on the forms. I took my niece with us on our first trip win!

So Im on the phone a minute ago with DH, doorbell rings. DD4 and I go to answer it, it is a FedEx guy carrying an envelope! He says this is for XXX(Dhs name) I must have a signature. DH is in my ear, who is it, is it from Disney?? I look at the envelope, YES, its from Disney He yells open it, what is it?? I rip it open and there it is......our $40 gift card for the DVC survey. Im mean its great and all, but man, I was so excited for about a minute.

Oh well, what a bummer. Maybe next time they come to the door, it will be the envelope we are all waiting for!

The winning envies will not be coming from Disney, it will say Ventura on the return label...

I have been entering everyday Hoping for some pixie dust to come my way. I have noticed that I am so obsessed with this that I stress over if I should text it on do it online. Like it makes a difference, but part of me wonders if they choose different daily. I also freak about what time to enter because part of me thinks that if I enter 5 seconds later it would matter. Oh well, I think I need to calm down and quit stressing. Pretty sure I will have some disappointment when the contest is over if I dont win. Which is funny because my odds are terrible! But this forum has really made me think it is a possibility! If we did win, I would be taking my 4 yr old son on his birthday in July

Yesterday afternoon I received a recorded message from Fed Ex. It said that I would be receiving a package from them by 7 pm tonight. I haven't ordered anything. I have received several packages in the past from Fed Ex but never received a phone call telling me when it was going to be delivered. Have any of you received a phone call like this?

Yup that's the truth. At McDonalds during the Monopoly game I had to answer the skill testing question (lol) in order to claim my free muffin.:

I can not believe what just happened! The doorbell rings- my DH goes to the window and is yelling "it's fedex, and he's carrying an envelope!" I'm yelling back "you better not be making this up..oh my gosh oh my gosh" and we both run to the door. He signs for it and says "It's from Disney" and I am thisclose to peeing my pants. We rip it open and it is a giftcard for a DVC phone tour I took last month
So while it was a very welcome mail surprise, it was a huge letdown haha! I am still all hopped up on adrenaline of the thought that I had won. phew. That was crazy!

Thanks for the heads up on that. I am expecting my $40 gc soon and assumed it would come through the mail. Never dreamed they would send it via FedEx. But, hey, now you know for sure that FedEx will find you if you win!

Does anyone else open their door everyday and hope there's a white envelope in there?

EVERY DAY when I get home, I hold my breath and open slowly.......... dang. Nothing today.

I'm checking the front door every afternoon (we don't use that door) and, when we go out for a while, when we get home, we check the car that was still in the driveway because the FedEx man has been known to put things in the car in the past.

I've never had a phone call from Fedex, and with this contest I wasn't contacted at all...Fedex just showed up. Did you look up the number? Strange! Keep us updated.

I've had a phone call from fed ex the night before a package came. I thought it was strange. Haven't had one since. Maybe it's an option some senders choose or something????? I'd say that since the other winners didn't get a phone call (I think they would have mentioned it) that I wouldn't get my hopes up. They probably handle their notifications pretty consistently.

This just happened to me about a week and a half ago. You can call them back and ask who the package is coming from. Mine was from DVC, not Ventura, like I was hoping Keep us updated. Hope this is good news for you!

Just now, while making lunch, I glanced out the kitchen window and saw a FedEx truck turn onto my street - first time since the OMDD contest started!

I ran to the front door, out onto the porch - excited & hopeful at once!

Just to watch it circle my courtyard and drive right off the street again without stopping at anyone's house... What a tease that driver was!

Darn.. for a few seconds there I was all inside.
