Two or three times I have received the "Sorry...you've already entered today" message. Even if I tried to enter from a differen computer...it wouldn't let me! But at least I was able to enter by DH...so hopefully we at least had a chance on that day!

I entered online and got notification by fed-ex first on Jan 9th



On your letter - at the bottom left is there a date - Mine said Jan 3rd I am guessing that is the day I won (the letter was dated Jan 6th)

We received our official congratulations email from Ventura Assoc. today as well and can't wait till we receive our packet from Disney and the real planning begins.

When I received my first call I was told that my text entry was the one that was chosen and I only entered on Jan. 16th by text. the others were online so I know that technically I would be the 16th winner.

Good luck to the rest of you. I hope that DISers win a few more along the way.

Congrats again J.J.! I can't wait to hear from Disney. Have you decided if you're going to DL or WDW? We're hoping to go to DL this summer. We've never been, so we're planning to stay an extra week or so to travel around California if we have a say in when we have to fly home.

I've been following this thread from the beginning, so I don't think this has been covered, but it's very possible I could've missed it. I think I recall the winners saying they recevied certified letters via Fed Ex, correct? Don't you have to sign for certified letters? Therefore, don't you have to be home when Fed Ex comes? For those who don't receive email notification in advance, or have jobs in which they cannot be home at a particular time of day, does that mean you have to forfeit? For the winners, do you all work from home? Just curious

Yay Thank you! Not sure what made me think someone mentioned having to sign for it. Being a teacher, I was trying to figure out how that would work since I can't be home during the day

Someone had mentioned that they had gotten a notice of a certified letter that the USPS tried to deliver while they weren't home, but it was for something else. I was home but didn't answer the door and Fedex just left the letter on the doorstep.

I want to slap myself right now......I just went online to the Disney site to make sure all of my info was correct and I NEVER put in my address.....I bet I was a winner on the first round but it got passed onto someone else because my address wasn't there.

Or maybe, just maybe, I will now get picked.

Lesson of the day - EVERYONE go check your disney account and make sure all of your info is updated.

I was on the computer this afternoon and in the monitor I saw a reflection of a white truck in front of my house. I turned around and looked out the window and it was a Fed Ex truck. My heart skipped a beat for a second and then the truck just drove away. Darn!

log in at www.disneyworld.com and go to your account. All of the Disney sites are lilnked and you can add you address there.
