Doesn't it make you wonder why everyone was notified on such different days. I wonder if some of our DIS winners were the alternates and that is why everyone was not notified on the same day.

Here's hoping some of us get some pixie dust tomorrow!!

I think some were definitely alternates. If you are notified by phone for a text entry then you have 24 hours to contact them before they notify the alternate..at least that's what one of the winners posts said...

I also don't believe they are drawing each day. I think they draw once a week like the rules state..

3. Texting - I entered online the first couple of days and then kept forgetting. So on Jan 16th I decided to text. That is the day I won for. One text, one win for me.

OMG! I am freaking out here! I just missed a call from Fed-Ex. They left a message saying that we were receiving a package tomorrow that required a signature and that someone needed to be home.

I ran and checked on the package that we ordered a few days ago on ebay (new pool filters) but they are coming UPS.

FedEX left me a tracking # on the phone so i went and put that in on their website. All it tells me is that the package is 1 pound and it left from Reno, NV yesterday, went thru Memphis and is now at a facility in my town!!

Ok, I'm freaking out again!

We have no other packages coming that we know of.

Sooooooo, my question is....... those of you who have had Fed-ex drop off you winning package, did you have to sign for them????????

Those who were signing, were signing for Disney gift cards from a DVC tour. Did you do one of these?

OMG! I am freaking out here! I just missed a call from Fed-Ex. They left a message saying that we were receiving a package tomorrow that required a signature and that someone needed to be home.

We didn't have to sign for the letter, but it came from New York City. It doesn't sound like a winning letter, but you never know.

Looks like I found a common link on what qualifies us to be winners...you must have a 3 year old! Except mine is a girl and possibly wasn't 3 yet when I entered. I really wish I could remember what day it was that I entered.

Oh well.... just realized what it was that is coming tomorrow. My Ipod Nano recall replacement. I just checked the status and it shipped yesterday.

Glad to get my new ipod though.

if you did the online dvc tour, then that is probably what it is.
i did the tour and received the call today about the fed ex delivery for tomorrow.
same thing said in my message as you stated above.

if you put your tracking number in the fedex website, you will see it is coming out of memphis.
on the right side, it will list DVC.......

As I was pulling out of the driveway to head to work this evening I saw a FedEx envelope at the front door. It was addressed to DH, who I enter daily, so I called to see if he was expecting anything. I was on the edge of my seat. Then he reminded me that it was his new credit card since someone was trying to use his to buy things in Oklahoma. Boo!

This is how my co-worker won. They didn't even realize they could enter online.

I won by text message! I texted every day starting January 1 and they notified me on January 26 that I had won.
