Hi all! I just found this board and wanted to say that I was picked as the January 7th winner! We live in central Florida, but are choosing to take our trip to WDW since we have a 2 year old and don't want to have to deal with the cross country flight and what not . I am SO excited and only entered the contest once and found out I won a day or 2 later and got the FedEx shortly after that! I did notice some people saying that the select dates were from June 2012 to June 2013. I didn't see that stated on my travel questionnaire, so I listed dates in April and May of this year, and just spoke to the trip fulfillment man, and he said that the dates were fine since they weren't in the blackout period. Guess we'll find out! He also informed me that since my daughter will not require a park ticket since she is 2, we will have use of the other 2 tickets until next year! Woo! Totally awesome!
He also said that they will deduct the cost of the airline tickets so we will pay less in taxes! Another woo! Lol! Glad to see some fellow winners on here! Can't wait for Disney world with DH and DD!

I do have a question while I am planning all of this out...do the Disney busses require my daughter to be in her car seat while traveling from hotel to the park or monorail line? What about her stroller? Will there be space for it on the bus? Also, does anyone know if the 1000.00 GC can be used at the restaurants in the parks? DH let me take the spa experience as the enhancement since I don't get to do stuff like that very often being a sahm! I am beyond excited!

You do not need a car seat on the bus. I believe they are exempt. There should be plenty of space for the stroller. I think they intended the $1000 GC to be for food, so yes you can use it at the restaurants. Someone found out the Photopass enhancement and DTD shopping spree are just a $500 gc, which can also be used anywhere that takes GC.

I opted for the shopping spree because I would rather have STUFF then a massage. Let us know how the spa enhancement is after your trip.

Example: Say you picked Hotel 'A', but it wasn't available for your first-choice time slot? Do they put you up in Hotel 'A' with your 2nd time choice, or do they go with Hotel 'B' and your first choice time slot? I would assume date, but if you REALLY wanted to stay in a particular hotel, could you opt for your 2nd time choice? (Ha! My husband accuses me of over-thinking things...hmm...he could be on to something....)

But seriously, since we've never won ANYTHING like this before, I'll be happy with whatever-whenever . And I swear - this is merely just curious musing to pass the time until we get our info...

Like I said, I got the wrong form, so on the WDW form, they have 3 blanks for your 3 dates. Then, they list all the hotels, which in our case will be 3, in the case of those going to WDW, it was a boatload, and you number those in order of preference. I would imagine, since they gave us black out dates, and of the 60 trips, not all 60 are going to the same park, nor will they be going the same dates, it probably won't be hard to get the dates or hotel you want.
