Check-in Exper.at Csr

In MAY when we got to CSR check-in at 10:30 am the CM said our room in the CABANA SECTION ( stardard view) wasn't ready yet. It was hot so I asked the CM that if she had any room in any section anywhere that was ready if we could have it. She looked and then gave us a 1st fl room in the CABANA section lake view and then said no extra charge .( and it was ready now) Room 8551 was 10 yds from the sand and another 10 or so the the lake. GREAT VIEW. The quiet pool was 20 seconds from our door. This was our first stay at CSR and will not be our last.

Believe me when I say no matter how hot and tried you are from your flight or drive, always be nice and smile at the CM's and sometimes you will be rewarded. I have to think that since I asked and didn't care where the room was that the CM said give them a preferred view room for being nice love that Cm.

We'll be checking in for our first stay at CSR at about 5:30 in the evening(flying in from the west coast) and I was concerned whether we would be put in an area that just would not work for us (my DS is a water fanatic so we would prefer being close to the Dig site).Now I know that at least there is a chance for some pixie dust. We too have always had great experiences checking in at CSR. fast and curteous and no matter what time we check in, we always get our requests for room location and type. We have been upgraded to water view no charge as well. We love CSR!

they are most wonderful there. we too have had such great luck with the staff there. Just last year after hurricane frances I packed the kids up and headed up there since we had no electricity. they were wonderful and accommodating. I have the best luck being upgraded there too.

glad to hear you had a nice time. My favorite area are the cabanas also. my kids love to play in the sand or play kickball in the grass while we lay in the hammocks! so nice

Despite the crowds over Memorial Weekend, our check-in here was fast and friendly. Worth noting: This was the only place where we had to show our AP's at check-in. Also interesting -- we had just spent the previous 8 days at AKL using AP rates. We didn't need our AP's at check-in there. CM said it was all in the computer system. Wierd, but not a problem for us.
