We just returned from VWL from a trip during the first wk of September. Check in was great, we arrived at 12:30pm and our 1 bedroom room was ready, The bellhops brought all our bags plus food and water which we had just purchased at Publixs by DTD right up to the room.
Don't forget as a
DVC member Valet parking is for free at all DVC resorts. You are expected to tip the person who brings your car back though.
We had a great trip and our transfer to Saratoga right before Hurricane Frances worked out fine. We drove over around 9:00am and our room was available there also.
Bell services at the Wilderness were very nice along with ALL the Valet personal. Scott at the check in desk was so helpful, one of the best CMs I've experienced.
I'm really glad this is where we purchased. The trip to MK was great, used the buses to the other parks with no real waiting time.
The water resort, Mity boats were alot of fun especially on the large lakes.
Went to sing along and marshmello roast and movie at the camp grounds and had alot of fun and no real problem getting to and from via boat and bus.
Don't worry, everything will be great.
If this is the first time going to vwl, don't forget to eat in Whispering Pines and ask for some ketchup ( Ha, Ha).
