Sorry for what may be a stupid question. Our previous cruises have been Concierge so things have been different

We have 2 cabins: Cabin 1: 3 silvers and the baby (first time)
Cabin 2: 1 silver (Dsis) and my parents who are first timers

I know I can do online check in at same time since my sister is silver, but what do we do at terminal. I am reading that there is a line for castaway club members. Can we all check in there? Or do we have to go to the first timers line?
Thanks..
And yes, I am thinking about this 4 months in advance...Just made the final payment so...

You can either all go to the "anyone" line (often shorter and faster moving than the CC line) or you can split.

Assuming you are arriving together and checking in together: Since each cabin has someone who is a return cruiser, all members of the cabin can check-in on the Castaway Club line. However, do check to see which line is shorter because sometimes the general line is shorter.

Only one cabin has return cruisers.

As mentioned by Dug720, you can split or all go on the regular line which may be shorter than the CC line.

Do they have the colored Castaway club lanyards on the general check-in side?...or just on the CC side? I'm newly Gold on my next cruise and I want that screaming yellow lanyard!

I read it as both cabins have at least one silver cruiser.

I think the best advice is probably still go to the shortest line.

This will be our first non-concierge cruise too, so I'll be interested to see how it goes.

If you get to the port fairly early, we have found both lines aren't that long. Sometimes we go to the CC line because it is shorter than the platinum check in line. The platinum/concierge line usually only has two cast members checking in. The CC line has 10 cast memebers checking in.

Just go where it's the shortest.

That's what I thought, also.

Since each room has at least one silver, they can go to either line as a group.

Yes. I don't know if it was edited or if it was early morning reading errors. They made it more complicated than it needed to be. Lol.

I would imagine that the screaming yellow lanyard (they are awesome!) are at the CC line, however, I would also imagine they would be able to get them to anywhere else they would need to be too. :)

Totally. We checked in at the new cruisers counter once. They just went and got the proper lanyard for us. They had boxes behind the counter full of them.

They just have them in a general area behind all the checkin stations, no matter where you check in the clerk will get you the correct lanyards for your CC level. They are fun to get!

Agreed, as each cabin has a silver. However, we have done all of the lines (normal, CC, and Concierge), and honestly the wait in the longest line hasn't been too long, and after we checked in we had to wait for the boarding to start anyway, so it really didn't matter. And, if you come in after the initial rush there will be little to no line whatsoever.

Don't worry, be happy. The special line for CC members is kind of a pretend perk (as are most of the CC "benefits"). Show up, check in, check out the terminal, then start your cruise!
