Check in at Port Canaveral with Platinum and Gold Rooms

We are traveling with friends on the Fantasy. We're Platinum, they are Gold. Our ressies are linked. Will they get to use the Concierge check in with us, or will they have to wait in the other line?

Best answer - maybe. It depends on the CM at the Concierge/Platinum check in desk, and how many people may be in line at the time.

Platinum has a seperate check in area but Platinum and everyone else (except concierge) enter through the same line. Concierge and Platinum usually get boarding #1.
Your friends will still need to pick a PAT (port arrival time) once their booking window opens. Their boarding # is tied to their PAT. The earlier the PAT the lower the boarding #. Disney ask that if a group has different boarding #'s that you need to wait and board with the higher#.
At Port Canaveral they usually start boarding about 11:15 once they start calling #'s it goes very fast with the next # being called about every 5 minutes.

Yep - doesn't depend on any CM's whim, that's exactly how they do it in my experience. Been there, done that, as you have many times.

Except when they don't. Boarding in Venice we were given Platinum preferences of check in and boarding, our other 2 cabins of gold were boarded in the order of their boarding number. Yes it was brought up all were linked, different than traveling in same stateroom. When traveling with our adult children in another cabin DW and I split up on the reservation so we have a platinum in each stateroom to share benefit, not cheating the system, in fact recommended by CM when we were booking.
