I've heard check in at Carribbean beach is just awful! I'm worried tha whae we are there it will be just awful! Can anyone help me? If you've stayed there and have any imformation Thank You!

we stayed there in '01 and had no problem checking in... the only downside, imo, is that the check in building is far removed from some of the rooms... but we had a rental car so it did not matter... if using disney transport i'm not sure what you are expected to do... i'm guessing they deliver your luggage to your room and you take the bus? or however you got from airport to CBR check-in delivers you the rest of the way upon completion of paperwork?

I stayed there last year in May. We checked in around 3PM and there weren't any lineups. It was quite painless in fact. The only wait was for luggage service but that was maybe 5 minutes.

Well, we were there last summer and it wasn't awful, but it wasn't exactly pleasant. We did wait in line for about 20 minutes to actually check-in. Then we had to wait for the driver to take us to our room. While we were waiting, some ladies with whom we were chatting, became quite disturbed because the resort was overbooked and they were being sent to CS. We were there on the Fairytale Package, which was quite a deal! I guess they just sold too many of them. I think that you will just have to expect some form of a wait depending upon what time of day you will actually check-in. Don't let it stress you because that is not the way you want to start your holiday. The travelling is bad enough these days. Try to keep a good outlook to not make the experience worse than it really is.

Check-in was "okay" for us three Saturiay's ago. We had about a 15 minute wait. Besides check-in being in a remote building, the dining/guest services are a separate line. We had a PS for the Polynesian Luau and had to pay for and pick up our tickets in a separate line.

We will be arriving around 9:30 or 10:00 on a Sunday morning. What should we expect? We are planning to just check-in and knowing that our rooms will not be ready, leaving our luggage at the desk.

i just went in may..and we had maybe a 2 minute wait to check in...our room was actually ready so they just took us, and our luggage in a little van over to our b uilding

On a Sunday morning you shouldn't have a long wait to check in. Your room may even be ready. If not just leave the bags and head off to the park. No need to visit the front desk again when you return.

We were just there a week over Easter and checked in on the Weds before. We arrived about eleven am and had no problems. Requested Martinique and got Trinidad North, no big deal. Requested second floor and thats what we got. We did pay for the preferred category. Our room was ready when we got there so we got right in. We took bus to foodcourt to grab a drink and then proceded to room. Luggage came in about ten minutes.

Luggage will be left with Bell/Luggage Services, which is outside the front of the building. You can't miss it.

Check in there is no worse/better then anyplace else. Just depends on what is going on. (Acutally it is probably better then CS since they don't have conventions)

We stayed there and didn't have any problems checking in. We arrived around noon too and our room was ready.

I guess I'm going to be the different one in this post. When we checked in in January it took 1 hour to get to a cast member. However, it was the day after New Years and the place was packed!:crowded:

We had a bad experience because the computers were down....we had requested, via fax, a certain building & all the information was lost.....the cm was terrific, though....couldn't have been nicer.....& in the end, we got four complimentary day passes to the parks that don't expire until 2005.....we didn't even act like we were inconvenienced.....totally surprised that we got anything.....

We were there last May and I don't remember there being any problem at all. I think we had to wait maybe 5 - 10 minutes, but that's all. We really enjoyed our stay there. Going back in September, but are trying CSR this time
:hyper:

We were there from 6-13 April. (Silly people that we were, we never checked to see if that was a bad time to go!) Checked in on a Tuesday. The line wasn't too bad, we waited perhaps 10-15 minutes. We were there about 2:30, our room was ready. This was the first time we had ever stayed onsite, so had only requested nonsmoking and a king bed. We were in Bldg 39, Trinidad South, upstairs, corner room. We were delighted. We were settled in, headed out to AK by 3pm!:teeth:

We stayed there in 2002 and had no problems with checkin, or check out. Room was ready early 12noon and the cart took us and our bags to our section in Jamaica. We were napping by 1pm. :)
