Cheapest way to the Dolphin

My friends need to get to the Dolphin on Thanksgiving from MCO. They usually take ME, but this is a first at the Dolphin, and they will be using a transfer after their cruise to return to MCO. We always rent a car, so we're no help, but I told her there are plenty of people on here that will know the best option.

A thought... I wonder if it would be cheaper for them to rent and park in the terminal than take the Disney transfers. I'll have to look into that.

There is an Alamo/National/Enterprise office at the Dolphin, so your friends could do a one-way rental from the airport to the Dolphin. I have done so on several occasions when I have stayed at the Swan, and it is very convenient. Although the Dolphin's rental office is open from 8-4 for car pick-ups, you can drop-off the car at any time with the hotel's valet.

Your friends can also do a one-way rental from Cape Canaveral to MCO when the cruise ends. The car rental rate would have to be VERY low for it to be worth paying for the car plus parking at the cruise terminal while on a cruise and at the Dolphin.
