I need the low down on cheap ticket, close by rentals, etc. we go every year, this year we cancelled. We didn’t think it was worth it. Well now we want to go, we just want to go for 3 days and 2 nights. We only want to go to Hollywood studios and magic kingdom. And I need to plan this by next week lol

Depends on where you are coming from and how many people...SWA has some flights for $49 depending on where you are coming from...Hotel, depends on how many...

We drive from New England. You can figure out your fuel costs by using an online fuel cost calculator. But approx 1300 miles for me one way x$2.15 gas (price I saw today) = approx $120 one way for gas. Tolls are about $60 round trip.

But of course its a whole days drive. 20-24 hours depending on traffic. If we need to stay over night its another hotel night. I try to pay around $100.

so $240 gas, $60 tolls, $200 hotel on road = $500.

For us its generally cheaper to drive because there are 5 of us. And I would insist on having a rental car once I arrived. But if you are just a couple or family of 3 you may find flying cheaper. (Plus I stop at my family's in SC on the way down as well. Which I wouldn't be able to do if I flew.)

Good luck! Hope you get to go!

We flew in on United.
We stayed at the Regal Palms Resort (Full townhouse with kitchen, etc. slept 8, had a lazy river, $500 for 3 nights Jun 26-9) but required a car.
Parks were closed so we went to the Orlando Science Museum and Fantasia Gardens for mini golf... Legoland is open, too.

Orange Lake Resort is just off property and they have some great deals and nice accommodations and activities. You’d need a car.

Cheap tickets:
  • If you’re a FL resident, the new Disney Magic 2-day Flex Ticket is $130. That’s the cheapest you will see a 2-day ticket.
  • If you reside outside of FL, there are no discounts on 2-day tickets. My advice would be to purchase Disney gift cards at a discount and then use those gift cards to buy your tickets.

Yes I check All parks are still available. We have not purchased yet. Hopefully by tonight we’ll have our plans set thanks

Have you been recently? Is it still worth it? I want to see the castle. I have a itch every year to see it.

I got RT tickets on American from DFW for $48.
Check Priceline... thats how I search then you go to the airline directly and see if its the same...
That goes for hotels as well.
The currently have car rental for $6 a day
Choice hotels gaurentees lowest price or $50 gift card.
Last march i got one night free because i found it cheaper on Priceline

Airline tickets to Florida are very cheap if you are not purchasing within 14 days so keep your eye on the time.
