Cheapest place for OTT-lites? Or something similar...

Anyone know who sells OTT lamps the cheapest? I want one for my scrap area and DH was going to get it for Christmas but he hasn't been able to find them even though I told him to order from Joann's Anyway, I'm just wondering if there is anywhere else that sells them cheaper than Joann's? Or is there a similar product you've used that you love? Thanks~

A few months ago I went to JoAnns intending to get an OTT light when they had them half off. Thank goodness I took DH with me! I wasn't crazy about the way the arms moved, since I wanted to be able to put the light directly over my work. Anyway, DH noticed that there was another brand there as well. Now I didn't like those lamps either, but DH realized that brand had a standard base! So I was able to get 2 light bulbs for $20 or $30 and use them in some old IKEA lamps I had. I've very happy with the natural light I get from them & honestly feel I get more illumination from them than the OTT lights threw. Unfortunately I can't remember the brand name to look them up online for you. I think it might have started with a Z??

ETA: I was going to say it started with either a Z or a T, but didn't...DH knew. (as I KNEW he would LOL) The brand light bulb I bought was "Tensor". It's a true volor light, coil-shaped and has a standard base so it can be used in any lamp.

I bought mine in Michael's with a 40% off coupon. Unfortunately, I don't remember what I paid. They weren't in the scrapbooking area. I had to ask someone where to find it. Good luck.

I have recently seen a desk model of OTT light at BJ's wholesale club. Around $25. Far less than the $50 or more that mine cost (before coupon that is!)...........P

Mine came from Joann's when they had a coupon. I've had it for several years now and just can't scrap without it!
