Cheapest flights from UK

hiya
we are thinking about flying out to orlando in october (after the 12th) and coming back a week to 10 days later

looking for the cheapest flights possible as we were over in April for our main holiday and this would just be a little extra (April wasnt great as we had friends with us and it felt more like we were tour guides working for the two weeks)

We have just started a business this year so things have been a bit stressful so think that we could do with the break ....(also we have a friend just outside Orlando who will let us stay in the guest suite for the duration)

Can anyone suggest any good flight deals (we are in scotland but dont necessarily need to fly from edinburgh or glasgow - manchester or london would be fine)

Been checking Expedia etc but thought I would ask the experts .........

I live in Manchester and couldn't get a good deal from my own airport for our recent trip, so had to travel from Glasgow with Flyglobespan.com, we saved over £1000 compared with VA.

booked 8 months ago with BMI from Manchester, it's indirect but hey whats a 2 hour stop over in Chicago when compared to the savings instead of flying direct.

We were amazed at the variation in prices, it cetainly pays to look around.

We are going from newcastle in oct booked flights a year ago and they were 600 booked for mum a couple weeks ago and they were 750, thats the school hols if you did not know so it is pricy, orbitz.com is an americam site you could try, we are going all the way to la next year for cheaper than we could find orlando this year! good luck.Lynne

13th-24th october is £549.20 with VA
they have a sale on at the moment so worth checking.. also check virgin holidays

Just booked a FlyDrive, for next year, through 'JetSave'

Virgin flights but over £400 cheaper, for the two of us, than booking directly with VH

hi,

have you looked at airlines such as Monarch? they fly from Gatwick to Sanford airport rather than Orlando International, but flights in October are about £325

the planes will be smaller than BA or VA, but worth a look if you want cheaper flights!
