Cheapest Character breakfast w/Mickey

i canbook my ADR's in 2 days and i'm stuck on what character breakfast to do. as of right now i'm thinking we are gonna do Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner on the first night there (we arrive at 10am) but i'm stumped on what to do for a breakfast. we are paying OOP so i need to keep budget in mind. I want my girls to have the princess experience and also a meal with Mickey

any advice/suggestions? i was thinking chef mickey's but some of the reviews are not the best. should i pick a different princess location? im feeling very overwelmed and i only have 2 days left to decide. We are going with friends so we will be a party of 9

I simply adored the Donald Safari breakfast at Animal Kingdom Park. We booked a late breakfast, so we got to park at the opening, rode the Safari, grabbed some fastpasses, and then ate "breakfast." It was so much fun! I don't know the price, but I imagine that most of the character breakfasts are a similar price (with the exception of CRT)

That's what I was going to suggest! We've been there twice and have had great character interaction. I do believe it is actually the least expensive character breakfast on property! You get a family picture with Donald before you enter the restaurant, and inside you get to meet Daisy, Goofy and Mickey dressed in their safari gear. The food is wonderful - we like to plan a late seating - after 10:30, so we don't need to eat again until dinner. I think it's a really good value!

The breakfast at 'Ohana has Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch. I think that is the only other breakfast besides CM with Mickey. If you want to meet Mickey but don't necessarily have to have breakfast then I would recommend the Garden Grill in Epcot.
Our favorite princess meal is at Akershus in the Norway pavilion in Epcot. To us, it is more "princess bang for the buck". It is cheaper then CRT and there is a variety of princesses. At breakfast we usually see Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Mulan, Jasmine and Snow White. At lunch we saw Ariel, Cinderella, Belle, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White.

We too have done Tusker House breakfast and highly recommend it. The food was great and our servers were wonderful as were the characters.

We have done Chef Mickey's too and loved that as well but it wasn't at breakfast, it was for dinner.

It's funny. Tusker Housewas probably the most rotten time we've have at any disney restaurant, and certainly the worst we've ever had at a character meal. Honestly, I think we just had a bad luck of the draw, but I just can't see myself ever going back there.

If I was trying to save a buck and wanting to see *MICKY* in particular, I'd go to 'Ohana. It isn't as hectic as chef's mickeys, and it isn't a buffet. So there isn't as many food choices as the buffet line. But your cousin brings it to you, and it has all the breakfast basics. I like the pineapple bread they have at breakfast. But if you need to see Minnie, the Goof, and Donald, they ain't going to be there. But you get Lilo and Stitch and Pluto.

I went to O'hana for the character breakfast & it was a lot of fun & the food was great. We are going in Nov. & wanted to do a princess dining at Akershaus. Although I was wondering if we are more likely to see Ariel at the breakfast or lunch. Anyone know?

You are not alone. We have tried this breakfast twice and did not enjoy either time. I have chalked it up to the fact that we go in June and it is just too busy. Both times we were very rushed and the characters seemed in a hurry, too.

Mickey is there. It's the best friends breakfast. It's Mickey with his bestfriend Pluto and Lilo and her bestfriend Stitch.

Another recommendation for Tusker House! Been twice and loved it each time. Had a late ADR (10:25) & and earlier ADR (9:25) and both times the food was fresh and the character interaction was wonderful. During our first trip, Goofy visited our table twice and during our second trip, Mickey & Goofy both visited us twice. Daisy started to make her way around the room a 2nd time, but had to go before she got to us.

You get a family picture with Donald before you enter the restaurant,

Just wanted to point out that (of course) there is a charge if you want to purchase the photos.
