Cheapest and Best way to DTD :)

Hello all! Next week, my parents and I are coming down to FL so I can take my placement test at Daytona State College We are choosing b/w 4 hotels (idk what they are called sadly) that are literally across the street from the school.

We're there for 7 days and besides the placement test, we're looking for houses to buy and I am begging them to at least take me to Downtown Disney.

Do you guys happen to know what the cheapest price could be for transportation to DTD from a hotel? I've been to Disney many a times but this will be my first time in a non-Disney way , so I have no idea how much transportation would be

From Daytona Beach, I would think that driving would be the most reasonable way to get to DTD.

If you are in Daytona, you will want to have a rental car anyway so I'd use the rental car. Isn't DTD an hour away from Daytona?

I also don't see how you'd be able to look at houses without one.

Daytona is an 1 and half hours and around 75 miles away. Anything more then some sort of bus (which I think there is) would run a couple of hundred dollars each way.

Like the others have posted, if you don't have a rental, get one.

I can confirm that the only practical way is with a car.
