Just a FYI, Big Lots has large pouches of Bear Creek soup mix for only $3 each. There's also a 20% coupon (expires today), which would make these only $2.40 each. Coupon here: http://www.biglots.com/coupon_20110122_rewards/index.html?
All you have to add to most of the flavors is water, and it makes a 1/2 gallon of soup. Just simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, and it's ready to eat. So far we've tried the Tortilla Soup, and Navy Bean Soup. It is very tasty. Yesterday, DH and DS told me the Navy Bean soup was the best soup I had ever made. (They thought it was from scratch.)
Besides the flavors I mentioned, they also had Creamy Potato Soup, Darned Good Chili, Cheddar Broccoli, Chicken Noodle, Minestrone, Cheddar Potato, Vegetable Beef, and Creamy Wild Rice. I went back today and stocked up on them since we like the soup so much.
BTW, these are high in sodium, in case you're on a sodium restricted diet.
