Cheap Hotel in the Disney area?

My best friend and I need to reconnect since my wedding. I'm thinking of maybe seeing is he wants to drive to FL during our spring break, just the two of us. This would be a super duper budget trip since I am going with DH and family two weeks before. That said, what is the cheapest hotel in the area that is still clean? I have DVC, but I don't want to use any points. So I'm looking for the cheapest deal for 5 nights or so.

I think they're all pretty cheap down there ~ cheapest hotel rates in the country, that we have found. There are so many hotels down there ~ all competing for business.
Basically, decide what features you're looking for and go from there.

There are tons of cheap hotels, it depends on how cheap you want to go. There is such a thing as too cheap. Trust me , we've stayed at them in our younger years weekend quests!! We always had a blast though!

I think that may be what we are looking for. It's not too hot in March that we need a clean pool to swim! Just somewhere with no bedbugs! We stayed at the Comfort Inn LBV 5 yrs ago with a special rate of $20/night. That was good enough for us!

I'm staying at Wilderness Lodge in Feb. so my stays have gone from one extreme to the other!

The Motel 6 West Gate has gotten decent reviews on TripAdvisor. Under $30 a night.

Ahhh... Yes, I remember the 19.99 a night. Some weren't that bad, back then all we needed was a bed to sleep in. I mean, honestly, if your going to the parks you hardly spend time in your room, except to sleep and shower.
