Cheap hotel across the st.

we get in so late is there a cheap hotel to spend 5-6 hrs before we chack-in hrh?

There are quite a few in the area just behind Universal.

Doubletree

There are several on Major Blvd. and Canada Ave.

They are still there and the Doubletree is a good hotel and if you have AAA then you could get a standard 2 queen room for $80.00 a night

There's also a Super 8 really close by. I think it's on International Drive and American Way.

THANKS....i just called and booked a room at the super 8 for 1 night for 42.00....it is 1 mile from universal so we will check out the next morning and check in at royal pacific resort.has anyone ever stayed at this super 8? It is on international dr.

We're staying at the Fairfield at the airport the night we arrive then checking into HRH as early as we get up. The Fairfield has shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. We're planning to get a car service from the Fairfield to HRH. I think the room is around $80.00 and includes a breakfast.

We stayed there for two nights in February. It's not bad for the price. We made a quick trip and it was a place to sleep and shower. It was clean and that's all that mattered to us at the time. Yes, we would have much rather been at the RPR, but this was one of those last minute spontaneous road trips.

You actually have to turn onto American Way to get there. American way is kind of a loop (it starts at I-Drive and ends at I-Drive).
