Even if they do charge $5 to receive it ... it is still cheaper than buying water in the parks.... case of 24 bottles at atleast $2 a bottle in the park.... $48... as opposed to $11.49

I just read somewhere that Disney charges $5 for accepting shipments in your name.
Does anybody know if this is true?

If it is, then that's a deal breaker as the water would cost too much to justify sending it.

We were just there last week. We ordered the water from Costco and it arrived our 2nd day. We were at ASMo. We came back from the parks one day and it was there in our room. No $5 charge.

how much does a case like this cost at walmart? wondering if it would save to buy ahead- we have a car

The same 24 pack of the same water is $3.88 at Walmart (well at least Walmarts where I live). If I had a car and had room for it I would buy it beforehand. Although it was convient to me worth the little extra money to hae it delivered since we didn't have a car.

We did this for our trip in November and saved a ton of money. When we checked in, bell services had a hard time finding it, turns out the label was partially cut off so they didn't know who the water belonged to, but when the lady asked where the shipment came from and we told her Costco, they figured out the water was for us. They delivered it to our room later that day. I'd definitely do this again, its nice to have water in your room when you get back late and don't feel like walking down to the foodcourt and it saved us a ton of money. 3 of us and we drank all 24 bottles over 7 days.

You can also get water from the Garden Grocer for a similar price. It was 8.99 for a 32 bottle case (28 cents a bottle). Now they charge a delivery fee but if you are planning to get other items delivered also it might be worth it for you. Also...even though it is not listed on their website they will deliver alcohol. You have to contact their customer service department and tell them the brand/size you require and then fax them a copy of your ID. They will then add the liquor to your order. We used to take a cab to/from Goodings at Crossroads to get supplies for the room on our 1st day...even with the deliver charge Garden Grocer is cheaper and more convenient.

I'm SOOOO ordering from Costco..... probably 2 cases for the week. My DS6 and I can't live without water. I was going to rent a car just to be able to go to the store but thank goodness for Costco. $15.60 isn't bad for 2 cases to be delivered.....such a killer deal

Now ? - when Costco delivers, will they (front desk) let you know and then tell you to come pick it up or will they be nice enough and bring it to you??

I just used the address on my resort confirmation papers from the travel agent (some of the papers were vouchers, some were just info... the address for the resort was on there). It worked fine!

yes they have a minimum of 40$ last time i looked. i would check out their website to see about delivery charges.

Yes, you can order almost anything. They even have ice cream and other frozen items.

Can Canadians pre-order water from Costco as well? I have a Canadian Costco membership but I'm not sure about international orders.
