Cheap car rental?

Can anyone advise me how to get a discounted car rental while in Orlando? So far I'm finding cars almost $300 for a week.

Hotwire is a good place to get cheap car rentals! The recent price I got for Orlando is $8.95/day - with tax about $16/day - so I am paying under $250 for two weeks. The rental is for a compact car and the company I got is Alamo. A lot of people get good rates through priceline as well. Good Luck! I have used hotwire in the past for Orlando rentals and was really pleased.

Sign up to get on email list for the car rental companies (I am on Dollar, Thrify and Alamo). I signed up for Alamo Insiders as well.

I needed a 10day car rental for a trip I am taking in a few weeks to WDW.

I booked a midsize a while ago at Dollar for $250 all in ($25/day).. not bad

Then I just got an email from Alamo Insiders... and I got a full size for $147 all in (less than $15/ day). What a bargain!

Last september we went though Thrifty it was $210 for 9 days. You get the best rates if you look about 3 weeks from your trip. I think they are just looking to get cars off the lot.
