Just checked out DING. $34-$39 one way. Travel through June9? For Detroit, Columbus and Cleveland. Hope this helps someone.

Why don't I have that Ding yet? I have been sitting here watching the icon in my tray while surfing the boards and no new messages. When did your ding come across and when does it expire? The reason I am watching so closely is because I came home from work last night and saw someone posted that the very same Ding was offered yesterday and I missed it. My husband and I wanted to take a quick weekend trip down without the kids (a first) and that fare would certainly make it affordable.

Watching and waiting............. :confused3

I can't get my Ding to work either. It says it's connected, but I don't get anything at all.

:-(

I know mine works fine, I just had a Ding last night. Maybe there is just a lag time between time zones or something? :confused3

Who knows, I'll just keep a close eye on the SW Wing, ready to click the first envelope I see. Gotta love those Dings. :cheer2:

Turn off Ding, then go to Start Programs, Southwest, Ding to turn it back on. That's what I had to do.

Do you get anything when you open the DING window? Is there a message in the window? Is your home airport set to any of those airports?

Edit: I noticed I don't have a DING in my home airport but do see the DING in the MCO airport listing. It must be a targeted offering and will only show up in your listing if one of the airports is your home airport.

Nothing yet. Can you tell I am not a patient person when it comes to saving money? LOL! How long after you reset your Ding did your envelope appear? I am thinking of rebooting my computer to see if that helps it along. I have NEVER had problems getting Dings before (had it since it first came out). Just my luck, when I am seriously considering one I can't get it. :guilty:

By the way, when does the Ding from Ohio to MCO expire today?

See my post above. If your home airport is not set to one of the ones listed then change your home airport to MCO and you should see them.

I updated my registration and that worked. Most times when I get a Ding, I can see all destinations, wonder why sometimes (like this one), it is only pertinent to your home airport? I have three airports that I would choose from, depending on the fare. All about the same distance from me. Would I need to download on another PC to always see more than one airport? :confused3 Is there a way of having more than one home airport other than having it loaded on three different PCs?

Appreciate help from all you Ding experts out there. :thumbsup2

I keep my home airport set to RDU since I don't fly out of any other airport. I originally set up a backdoor method to check during the day since I can't download DING at work. Recently I set up another backdoor method to keep watch on all MCO dings. Works great! Here's a link to the instructions on flyer talk. If you have time you might want to read the entire FAQ. Lots of great information for folks flying SW.

The backdoor method works for those of you using MACs too.

I just booked my Mom's return trip on April 19th for $34!!!! I thought I was going to have to pay a lot more. Now I just have to wait for her flight out there to go on sale (April 13th). Wooooohooooo!!!! My home airport is BWI so I had to change it to Cleveland. I would never have known to do that if it weren't for the DIS!!!!
