Time to jump in the shower and make the dreaded Wal Mart run. Our Wal Mart is crowded enough, but we have all the dang tourists making it 10 times worse.

The kids are getting older, and I have made them more responsible for folding their own clothes (say it, I am a meanie)

Are you kidding me? That's awesome!

DH tells me I am just too picky about laundry. You see, he doesn't FOLD, and he doesn't care about wrinkles. He sometimes "helps" with the laundry; he'll take a load out of the dryer, throw it in a basket, and shove a wet load in. So all the freshly laundered clothes get totally wrinkled, it drives me insane!

DS7 also will take a folded shirt out of his drawer, decide he doesn't want to wear it, ball it up and shove it back in the drawer. WHY???

So yes, I still do all the laundry folding... DS7 knows how to stack his underwear neatly, and how to sort his socks. I guess I need to teach him to fold the shirts and pants so he'll have no more excuses.

To be honest, that thought has occurred to me as well. I can't stand seeing him or the boys take off into public looking like a wrinkled mess. You know darn well who will get blamed for that when people see them!

when I had my hysterectomy he did laundry...I swear I wrote down on paper how to put the laundry in and even broke that down...

put jeans only in a load....only fill washer to notch I carved for you...

towels in load all alone...fill washer to notch I carved for you...

my sweat suits had fuzz all over them...

my whites were ruined....it was awful....I had to call my sister over....the bad part is my 6 year old was standing there going "you are going to get in trouble....she said only towels and washrags."

my kids help me sort the laundry.. Hubby actually DOES the laundry, and I fold. Then it sits in the baskets until we wear it, or we need the basket to to more laundry... Then whatever is in the basket still might get put away.

We are a camping/cabin type destination....so Wal Mart is the place to stock up on food, necessities, fishing gear, etc.

Wow... School already! We have another month to go! I just checked and Alex doesnt start until the 3rd of September. They have the supply lists up, but no clue as to who his teacher will be.

I just got off the thing, and I am sweating like a pig.

Today I tried a few more yoga poses, all the balancing options available (I think I have 5), one or two strength training things, and went on TWO short runs.

And I suck at the ski slalom. Slammed right into a bunch of flags, and totally bypassed most of the others.
