Morning and happy Tuesday!!

Man B I don't envy you dealing with all that BS. I hope you get it worked out and don't have to pay back yet MORE stuff!!

I went in to work yesterday and called my doc who SWORE that they had faxed my refill to the pharmacy so I don't know WHO dropped the ball on that one but then of course when I called Walgreens back they said they had it! DOH!!! But then I had yet ANOTHER scrip that eventhough it had 2 refills I guess it had expired and it was from my uro who I don't see very often and when I saw him in August he said he would refill it no problem BUT they take their home sweet time to do ANYTHING in his office. Walgreens had already faxed over the request but I called and told them the urgency since I am leaving and I have YET to hear. SOOOO before I drive over there I am going to call but I swear they BETTER get it done cuz I WILL run out on my trip and it is so stupid cuz I know if HE saw it he would renew it in a heartbeat but the office people are just being obtuse. So hopefully I will get it today and be done with it. Man the bs they make you go through. GRRRR!

Anyway then yesterday was just a crazy day all together. We have to get all the bills paid up at work and as always the corp never has any money so having to move things around and try and figure out what we HAVE to pay and what we can put off and yadda yadda. Major stressful. And I am going back in tomorrow to pay a few last things and of course get MY paycheck so I can make my visa payment LOL. Been putting quite a bit on that sucker lately LOL. Anyway then took Shelby to piano yesterday and on the way on of the traffic lights was broke and stuck on red. It was at a VERY busy intersection and so people were having to run the red light and I was SO nervous there was going to be a wreck. I of course was in that turn lane and there are 4 lanes of ongoing traffic in the other lanes that were packed and those people were FLYING so you couldn't really switch to the other lane. You pretty much had to wait it out and just run the red. VERY nerve wracking but we made it and then I tried to call the CHP and had a hell of a time getting through. IT was nuts! Then while we were waiting at mcdonalds for some drinks it took FOREVER for 3 stupid drinks. I was like man what is this a conspiracy LOL.

Anyway then I had to get gas and go to the store on the way home so it was a LOOOONG day!

Today I am home thank goodness and am trying to catch up on laundry and have to run to the post office and HOPEFULLY the pharmacy!! Then tonight we are getting our pedicures. Excited for that!

Tomorrow I am sure will be a bit nuts getting all the last minute stuff done and we will be going to be EARLY I am sure!! Must be up at 3 on Thurs as our plane leaves at 6!

WHEW!! So that is my crazy few days.

Hope you all have a great day and talk soon.

wow Bernice just wow...i dont even know what to say about that one...:sad2: I hope it gets sorted soon for you....

Kelmac I hope today goes a little bit better for you but even if its more stressed out than yesterday, take a second to just sit and smile because tomorrow YOU'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD:cool1::dance3::cheer2::yay::banana: and knowing that makes everything else just seem like small potatoes:goodvibes

hmm, fab idea, I wish!
I don't think the state would appreciate it as much. :lmao:

Left yet another detailed icy polite message. I did my part, now it's in her court.

I looked at the giant packet of forms and brochures they sent for the cash part (that we thankfully don't need now).
What I thought was just another copy of the same intake appointment time was actually an additional "overview" appointment that was on Monday.. oops! I was the rude non-compliant client that didn't bother to show up for her appt. :rolleyes1

But seriously, how do they expect anyone to sort through and figure it out?
I was overwhelmed with the amount of info sent, looked at it and got depressed.. it was too much. It was worse than the horrible packets from social security.. at least those forms kinda made sense!

Can you imagine someone with low reading skills or limited English?

:sad2:

::yes:: Lynn nailed it exactly! Deep breath, pull out that goofy smile and go have fun! :goodvibes

Awww, my baby (all 17 years of him) dressed up in a tuxedo today. It has the school initials embroidered on the jacket in gold, tie and cummerbund are in maroon.. these are the school colors.

Handsome boy, all that struggle to get the tie and the cummerbund "just right" only to perform for 2 songs and go back home again 20 minutes later.
He's the only flutist who signed up for symphony orchestra, they've only practiced together for about a month now so he wasn't confident in his part.
I think it was a little rushed to have them perform so soon.

Later this week he will wear the same tuxedo for the music festival during school hours, this time as part of concert (seniors only) band.

Morning and happy wednesday!!

Man B between all your trouble with the SS workers and my trouble with doctors and ins companies oh and pharmacies LOL. I tell ya!

So I went to the post office yesterday and got yet ANOTHER bill from Katy's ortho. THEY are screwed up too. It seems my copay is 15 bucks which I paid the day she got her cast, go in last Fri to remove it they tell me I DON'T owe for that visit but DO owe another 15 for the prior visit. OK! Whatever so I pay it. Then I get ANOTHER bill yesterday and assume it was from before and just crossed in the mail. NOPE they say I owe yet ANOTHER 15 from last Friday's visit. HUH??? IF my copay is 30 which my cards say 15 then WHY do I have to pay 15? I am confused and I think they don't know WHAT they are doing!!!

Anyway so after THAT fiasco I go to FINALLY pick up my meds to be told after ALL that other bs that they only have a PARTIAL refill of my one scrip. UGH! Luckily it is just barely enough to get me through my trip but I am like GEEZ! I have NEVER had this much bs just trying to get a damn refill! And of COURSE it has to be now when I am trying to go out of town!!!!! Then I am waiting at the drive thru and they took FOREVER to come out and the lady copped an attitude with me when I was more than a little peeved and then insisted that the pharmacist talk to me even though I have been on ALL these meds for prob 5 years!!!

So that was nuts but the day ended nicely because mom and the girls and I all went and got our first ever pedicures. Now we all have pretty toes and MAN did that feel great! It was a little spendy but it was fun!

I am already stressing a bit trying to get everything done today and still really worried I am going to forget something but hopefully not. I am pretty much packed but have to switch out my purse and can't do that till after I get home from work.

That is hopefully the last of it and hopefully we will get to bed early although I don't know if I will be able to sleep. :) I can sleep on the plane!! ;)

I will possibly get on one more time but if not everyone have a great rest of this week and next. I will be back on the 21st. I plan to do a trip report over on the DW board if anyone is interested. Perhaps I can figure out how to do a link. Also for those on FB I plan to do some updates.

Take care guys and talk soon. :)

Howdy Hyenas! :flower3:

Long time no see!

Arrived back late Monday night from a trip on the train to Sacramento. Went to visit my family up there. My sister Renee, the one with cancer was there also from Oregon. Her DD just had a baby. It was so nice to see her, but she was tired. :sad2:

I'm keeping busy with my grandchildren. No complaints. :cloud9:

Kelly, Ditto what Lynn said. Have a wonderful and safe trip! :goodvibes

Bernice, Hope you get the stamp thing fixed without too much hassle! :headache:

Lynn, Congrats on Tristan's binky! :thumbsup2

Howdy Ali!

Hi Albert, You're so nice to offer up a discount for us. :goodvibes

Case worker left a message, it went like this : mumble mumble.. whisper blah, blah .. yes I got your fax.. mumble something.. blah blah and I fixed the amounts.. mumble mumble.. call me if you have any questions... mumble mumble.. whisper.. bye.

Uhh okay, good enough :lmao:
I will wait and see what letter is generated to reflect the change. No more weird income fluctuations in the future, no need to contact her until re-certification. No more stressing! :thumbsup2

My inner barometer is noting a change in the weather (Ow), confirmed by looking at the forecast, snow expected this weekend. Good for deer hunting, ewww. It's been in the 60's for a few days now. It's been nice to be in the second week of November, outside with no coat wearing capris and short sleeves. :upsidedow Here's hoping for a snowy warm vs. a bitter cold winter. :cold:

Our little shopping cart was pushed to the limit today, E had his nephrologist/ home hemo appt and we had to bring home his monthly supplies on the bus. I was nervous that it couldn't handle two cases of saline (28 Liters total plus packaging and heavy duty cardboard, very HEAVY!). But we all survived. :woohoo:

I get a kick out of his nephrologist, he totally knows how to talk to E and search out any issues without being a pompous overbearing idiot like many of the nephs he has unfortunately had in the past. Plus we all joke around and feel at ease. Good docs for chronic disease are hard to find.

Glad things got fixed! Thank also Albort, my kids are getting older and I think they got a bit Disneyed out a few years ago. But I do appreciate the offer.

Albort- I got a coupon from Disney Store a few days ago but thanks for the offer :) On the coupon I got it says if you bring in a t-shirt for them to recycle, they will give you 25% off instead of 20%. :thumbsup2

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_wm1f3AnMs

I have words running thru my head today:
accumulation
fluffy
white
wet
winter has arrived

and

crap I need to buy some boots!

:lmao:

And it's not a dusting of the hard white flake variety. It's go to bed with the last you see is fall leaves on the brown ground. Wake up to winter wonderland, everything covered in a thick layer of winter white. Hours later the wind picks up and... ummm I can't see across the street very well.

I love this type of winter weather, as long as I don't need to go anywhere! :thumbsup2

:cool1:
I totally get going to a place you know... Hojo's is my Disneyland home :goodvibes When are you going? Christmas time right?

No.. we decided not to go at Christmas.. Family stuff, you know. So we are going during Spring Break. EGADS.. I know it. But oh well, I cant exactly take Julie out of school for a week or so to go to DL.

I have spent the past few days sewing up a storm making a cute little dress for my Jazz. Lotsa ruffles.. SEW cute. ;):lmao: Then my ruffler exploded. :headache: I had my old machine set up JUST to do ruffles.. I have a ginormous ruffler foot on it, and the dang thing exploded! I just got it.. But I cant take it back. BOOOO. My husband can fix it though. Good thing. I need my ruffles. :lmao:

Oh... and my husband wants to have another baby.

< pulling out the counseling couch >

How do you feel about that?

< hiding the pile of sporks >

I swear he has more baby lust than any woman I know.

Speaking of babies, pregnancy and husbands..
My SIL posted on Facebook that she and her dh are having a hard time, relationship wise and expectations of wanting help around the house during the rough early months of pregnancy.
E called her and left a message, I posted several times on her page to call us. It peeves me that she doesn't return phone calls or maybe her mom is telling her not to bother us? I don't think they have ever grasped the concept that if there is any problem or change in your life we DO want to know and can offer help.. or at least a shoulder and a hug. It seems like E got married and he no longer is part of their family.:confused3

Now she posts that she is going away for a few days to think. :worried:
Those young married early years are rough, been there, done that.. but in our case E changed his whole way of thinking very quickly. Stepped up and took responsibility, we worked on the relationship and it got better. Hoping they can work it out.

We re-arranged our bedroom yet again. For the past two years the dialysis machinery has been tucked into the far corner of our bedroom. Right under the window.. it's an exterior wall so it is freakishly cold in the winter and hot in summer. Poor guy also felt disconnected from everyone as he could not see past the machine when anyone came into our room. He decided it was time for a change.

We tried flipping E's machine to the opposite side, quickly found out it SUCKED! :headache:  Too awkward to reach, his lines were running across his body and our drain line was just a tiny bit too short. Made everything a hassle.

Today we tore apart the bedroom, swept up gobs of dust
cough cough SNEEZE
Got rid of some junk that was stored under there.. and forgotten.

Now the machine and chair are in line with the doorway, bed is closer to the window. Like it so far! :thumbsup2 It makes our bedroom look bigger. E happily calls out to the boys as they walk past and the TV is at the perfect level and location for me to enjoy sitting up in bed.

Why did it take us 2 1/2 years to figure this out?

Yeah.. he does!! I dont know.. I kinda feel like, honestly.. what one more kid. I mean, we have four already!

Hmmmm.. We never went through any of that. I wonder if it was because I already had Alex, and that just made things different for us from the get go. I hope they can figure it out.
