I have medical!

I have a letter that says I will get food benefits "right away"!
But ahhh it doesn't say how .... as in how, when, where to get the card to use the benefits?
Case worker said she would call today.. or at least that's what E
thought she said.
It was a trifle confusing because she mentioned something about "quiet time" on Tuesdays and babbled on about Wednesday and some other intake person is to call and she never had anyone that didn't have a card yet so even she didn't know how it worked and blah blah blah.
And well, it was info overload for E to keep track.
Now think if this was someone with special needs, learning disabled, mental health issues, or limited English. If it's hard for us to figure out, can you imagine how that person would feel?
oh yes, the teacher that took E's spot..you know the one that walked out on the students and left? He worked for a few more weeks and POOF quit.
The asst principal already put out feelers to see if E wanted it, he laughed and said "beeeeeeeeeep NO".
They had a sub sign up for the week, he worked one day ... and promptly cancelled for the rest of the week.
Yes folks it is THAT bad this year, the current principal is nitpicking over break times and number of copies made per week. While veteran teachers are falling apart and thinking they
can't do it any more.
Even his best buddy (young, has seemingly unlimited energy, works multiple jobs and does volunteer work) looks frazzled and tired. It's awful.
He can do the job, but at what cost to his health and sanity?
It's not worth it.
