Chatterbox Thread-Cmon in and Jabber! Everyone is Welcome!

Im such a bad mommy... I am totally drunk, and my older two kids are still up. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: But I am hiding out on the porch where they cant see me. :lmao::lmao: My husband is pumping me full of beer, and getting ready to have me watch a bunch of Jason Stathem movies.. I think he might be up to something. ;):lmao: That guy is WICKED HOT. YOu know who else is wicked hot, and it totally makes me feel like a dirty old woman to say it?? The kid from the Twilight movies.. The one who plays the werewolf. OMG. That kid is FREAKING HOT. My sis and I were talking about what dirty old women we were lusting after him.. But DANG. He is babe-a-licous. :lmao: OH!!! AND my husband told me I looked like I was loosing weight! :cool1: He got all said after that and told me that he loved my jigglies. NOT my b00bies.. :lmao: Well.. Those too I guess! What a weirdo. :rotfl2: *SIGH* I love you guys. :lmao: Julie comes tomorrow!! We need to plan a girls trip again. Then you can all laugh at me getting wasted off of two beers. :lmao: I think Kaylee just told me that she loves it when I kick her in the head. :confused3 Oh... No. thats not what she said at all. NM. After tax time?? Thats when we have money. Las Vegas?? We could see some nudie men!!:cool1:

:rotfl:

Nice to see you having a good time.. and maybe promises of more?? ;)

Nudie anything sounds good to me. Now now.. don't think that way. :snooty:
I happen to like any nude body that is not wiggly jiggly flesh like me. :lmao:

I found an ebelskiver pan at the thrift store, not as nice as Nordic Ware but for the price thought I would give it a whirl, now I just need some recipes!:thumbsup2

Eloy has got us hooked on watching Nip Tuck. We are watching them during his treatments, halfway thru season 2 and E says yet again "these people are so depraved!" with each of the steamy sex scenes.. yep, but that's why we keep watching it dear. ;)

So I got my haircut today, it was to be nothing new just a trim. I figured the guy that I didn't really like last time would handle it. Well, I was a bit perplexed on his technique because he did it so oddly compared to the everyone who has done mine in the past. Plus he kept telling me to put my head down, well gee sorry dude I can't stay in one position for very long - let me stretch a bit.. geesh! While he was combing , he was holding his scissors too, at one point he bumped the scissor handle into my ear.. ***?? I glance at the mirror and see Eloy in the waiting area, he gives me the "are you okay?" look and he knows that I am THIS close to telling this guy off. :lmao: I almost wanted to ask if one of the other stylist can finish it.:guilty: But after awhile it started to look okay so I let it pass. Eloy didn't give him a tip, we always give a tip..

Got home, showered and did my hair.. oh crap! One side is shorter than the other, it's like he "forgot" to do one side.

Depending on how I style, I could just leave it and wait it out.

Now he is totally on my "no can do" list. He did one of the boys once and he didn't clean up the neck. How could you not see that tuft of hair growing back there?? :confused3

My sister wanted an ebelskiver pan last year from Williams Sonoma. It went on sale for 1 day and was half off. They didn't have any near her area so she called a store that is about 35 minutes away from me. I got it for her for Christmas. :)

That sucks about the hair stylist :( It's really hard to find a good hair stylist sometimes. I found one at a mall not too far from my house. She does a nice job and she is affordable. I used to go to a lady who is about an hour away from me. I got tired of going to her because she would quote a price over the phone when I made an appointment, then when she finished cutting my hair she would increase the price and upset me. :headache: I didn't like her fickle pricing and stopped going to her. She did a nice job but it wasn't worth the drive of the trip. She also said things to upset me. I don't know why she thought it was her place to judge me but she just would blurt crap out and not think about how her words could affect other people. :sad2:

My best friend and I had dinner together Sat night. She took me to this small place that has burgers and sushi. The son of the owner used to work in high-end restaraunts and makes really good sushi rolls. The best part is that it's not expensive at all and was delicious. :thumbsup2 It's so crazy that one side of their restaraunt has burgers and the other is sushi. They got rave reviews on Yelp. :) Afterwards I took my friend to a place that sells scrumptious cookies and you choose the type of ice cream you want. They offer whipped cream and sprinkles for free if you prefer. I thought it was delicious. I got the chocolate cookie with white chocolate chips and mint n' chip ice cream. It tasted really good. :lovestruc My friend chose a chocolate toffee crunch cookie with chocolate chip ice cream. Here is a pic of mine:

The cost is $3, which is not bad at all. The cookie are fresh and chewy and are not hard and crunchy which is how I like them. :thumbsup2

My friend surprised me with a belated b-day gift. She got me an adorable Hello Kitty purse with Hello Kitty socks and also Mickey socks. She also threw in some cute Japanese Hello Kitty figures and a Hello Kitty screen cleaner for an iPod or cell phone. :cutie:

A few months ago I bought some flip flops on sale. I finally had a chance to "pimp" them. I glued on the rhinestones. Here are some pics:

Crazy - you would think as a hairstylist you would be careful what you said :confused3

Yummy on the ice cream cookies and cute on the flip flops!!! :thumbsup2

Oh yes, that reminds me...

Pix, Target has started their big toy clearance and I noticed little Hello Kitty figures in different colors and patterns, two per pack. Similar to the different domos. They had a few other items too. It was first mark down 30% off. Some stores have already gone to 75% off so keep an eye out.

Thanks! I've seen those but I am not too fond of them. They are cute though. :)

I hope you all had a good weekend. :goodvibes I park hopped today and had a nice time. The parks didn't seem too crowded and the weather was nice. I passed through Coke Corner and requested Cruella De Ville to the piano player. He was really nice and he also has other songs that you can request. I took a video of him playing Cruella DeVille:

I bought a cute night shirt from the GCH gift shop for my little sister. Her b-day is coming up and she loves Chip N'Dale. This is the only clothing item I've seen that features them. It's really cute. :cutie: I wish the parks would sell more merchandise of them aside from pins and snacks. :(

Here is a pic of the night shirt:

A couple CM's stopped me and asked if they could see my CM silhouette pins. They asked if I was a CM. One of these days I should say yes to see what happens! :rotfl: ;)

WAAAAAAAAH The cool juicy sunhat with pom poms can't be found online anymore. I'm so sad. I went to buy it and it's sold out everywhere. Well at nordstroms and saks, I can't find anybody else that sells it. I'm so devastated I just had to share with everybody. So sucky.

That's a bummer Christina :( The problem is that that style is no longer available and it's hard to find them in the department stores since new designs took over. :( Do you have a Nordstrom Rack? I think that's a good place to check or sometimes even TJ Max sells Juicy stuff but it's a hit & miss. If you go to www.zappos.com they have other Juicy hats that are on sale if you want to check those out :)

:goodvibes ..so I went to the dis meet on Saturday hosted by imtoexcitedtoosleep, it was fun, met mary jo, and hydroguy, and some other active members on this board. We chatted for an or two, mary jo told her skittle story—that is a funny story. I also got a new signature line, I am loving it!! the map sending is going great, still rocking that job!! ;) I joined the glowfest crowed saturdy night for the “Saturday night dance move” dance a long thing.. lots of fun! Been also planning a trip on the 22nd for my aunt to Disneyland, and made us all matching t-shirts for the trip and also somewhere in there been working my day job also….

I was going to suggest the same, check out the outlet type stores. I looked online zappos, 6pm, and overstock and didn't find it, looks like the new fall styles are coming in now for the big dept stores. Nordstroms online had discounted the hat by 50%, likely the reason why it is gone. :guilty:
Maybe Filene's?

I need to go downtown to return some books to the library on Thursday. If you want... I can check the Sak's outlet and the Neiman Marcus clearance floor for you Christina? Not too many people shop those stores since it is downtown.. heck I don't even know why the Sak's outlet stays open it's a full sized many levels dept store and on most days I would be the ONLY person shopping on the upper level. :confused3 Creepy!

I did my coupon doubles.
4 orders of $25 + each and I paid $46 total and have a mail in form for a free mini charcoal grill ($20 value).

I might have a potential $10 rebate too, just need to find the form and details. It's the Kellogg fuel for school offer they do every year, this year I think the form is only in a coupon booklet that I have yet to find. Hoping it is valid now. Even without the rebate it was a good deal.. but it would make it UBER awesome with rebate. :thumbsup2

Each order generated a high value coupon to use on the next order:
Buy $25 Kellogg/ Keebler = $10 coupon
Buy 10 Unilever products = $5 coupon
Buy $15 of Conagra products = $5 coupon
Buy $25 P&G items = free grill offer

I added a few items to the Conagra one to reach my $25 minimum in order to double coupons. And had extras in my P&G order as I still had two more coupons to double.

I know have full cabinets/ extra storage again. Hubby was ecstatic to have Q-tips of all things! He ripped open the package and used some before it even got out of the bag. :lmao: He is odd about cleaning his ears and poo poos when I tell him the old adage "nothing smaller than your elbow" is to go in the ear.

Now we sit and wait wait wait for the maintenance guy to install the promised ceiling fans... promised a MONTH ago. E had to remind him yet again! E only saw one fan in the truck.. argh! Two bedrooms = two fans hope he has more somewhere. :headache:

Oh that would be awesome if you have time to check for me! If you don't have time or forget don't worry about it, but I would sure appreciate it if you're able to. I didn't realise they had put it on sale and everything, I just got so busy and forgot I needed to buy it. And then I remembered but procrastinated :rotfl2:

I think that's so awesome you still get library books. I think you're the only person I know that still uses the library. I walk by a library everyday and I always think about popping in there but never do.

Dh is obsessed with cleaning his ears too. I stopped buying q-tips at one point because I'm with the ol' nothing smaller than an elbow thing too, but then he started using my bobby pins and keys. So disgusting, so now I buy q-tips and just leave him alone. If he breaks his ears one day I'll get to say told ya so. :rotfl2:

I use Q-Tips after I shower every day but I won't push it in all the way inside my ear. :rotfl:

I had my hip hop class the other day. It was really hard this session, at least for myself. I do like that we have a small class which makes it less intimidating. The instructor's bro was there and he was showing us stuff. My little sister's friend signed up for the class and she learned how to do coffee grind (it's a breakdance move where you stick one leg out and swing it under you and jump over your leg with your left foot). He also taught her the worm (forwards and backwards). He did all sorts of cool flips. He said that he took gymnastics for 6 years! Dang! I thought it was neat though to watch him dance with his sister (the instructor).

I wish this class was more often, that would be great. In the mean time, I need to look for other classes to take, preferrably academic courses to get my bachelor's degree. I just know that it would be good for myself to find more things to do to occupy my time and break away from thoughts of what I'm trying to get over.

I love the library. :lovestruc

I have been bringing my lunch to work so I sit in the breakroom and read. Book are expensive and I don't usually read a book more than once.

I am on # 16 of the Stephanie Plum series. Started these in December when DBF and I went on our cruise. I need to find a new series now...any suggestions?:confused3

No problem, gives me an excuse to browse. :thumbsup2

I think using the library is gaining in popularity again. Blame it on the recession, it's a good budget friendly activity. There a few cities in the metro area that have funded their libraries better than years past. Brand new beautiful buildings, coffee shop and used book shop that supports the library. Nice meeting spot and pleasant surroundings instead of old dingy rooms. Some of the smaller suburbs don't have the funds or have ear marked for other plans.. too bad as those older locations SUCK in comparison. Limited hours, closing smaller branches, old books. I stepped into the little one my sis goes to in her city.. so tiny! She's number 200 on a waiting list for the latest Evanich book, she was 330 but a bunch of people dropped out. You would think if the list is that long.. wouldn't you buy more copies?
