I'm sorry about your friends not responding to you. That really sucks. I'm not saying your friends are like this, but there are some people who just expect you to meet their needs yet don't give back in return. :-/ All they do is take and they become selfish.

Im starting to think they are.. Maybe Im just overly sensitive right now about the whole thing. But DANG! I know you have it worse, I know things are hard for you all.. But shoot.. This was a big deal for us. SCARY for us. Have some sympathy, you know?

Actually.. they invited us to a birthday party for their older boys at a pool, and I think I will skip it. Dh can take the biggers if he wants, but Ill stay home with the twins. Im sure it doesnt make a bit of difference to them, but it makes me fell a little better.

So - the Dizzy family is about to live up to their namesake....soccer practice starts tomorrow (DH is the coach) - we already have football 4 nights/week (DH not intending to coach - seemingly is the third coach) - softball (adult) is one night/week....and school starts in a week and a half

I have successfully completed stage one of husband training!!!

I got home from work (ok, actually soccer meeting/football practice), so we all got home about 830pm. I asked DH if he had work clothes clean for tomorrow (I knew all mine were dirty)...he looked at me crazy - and then told me that he had done all of the laundry

But now its like a competition, you know? WHo can handle the stink the longest?? I said something about it last night, and he was all.. WELL EXCUSE ME!! Its been a rough day you know?? No crap! I was just commenting on how much it stunk!

Yuck, stinky garbage I would not be able to deal with that. At my house, we take out the garbage every day and just toss it into the big blue trash can outside. It's helpful in not waiting until the last minute before trash day or something but it also prevents funk smell. That is too funny about your competition.

We are in an apartment, and I dont even know when the garbage man comes! I used to leave it by the door.. but it would pile up. Now I just bug him until it gets done. I cannot stand stinky trash...fortunately my DS is all over trash duties - he takes it out promptly, and ensures that every week we take out the trash cans in a timely fashion out to the street. Every Monday - he begs to bring them back in!!!

One of the neighbors used to leave their trash bags in front of their door and a few minutes later, there was a huge trail of ants that would come and it went into my apartment. There was also a can of Lysol that we kept next to the trash can in the kitchen to prevent odors.

Will your DS come to my house and take out the trash cans for me? I HATE doing it! My neighbor was teasing me one time because I wear gloves when I do it. My least favorite is hauling the gardening trash can because there are always spiders on it!

If there are no diapers in it, Alex can do it. But diapers daily x2 are HEAVY! We have ripped bags with those things! He will get it out tonight. Or face my wrath!! I am anxious for him to get off work. We have so much to do this weekend! I bought all of Julies sheets and stuff this morning.. Now we need to put it all together. I cant wait for the room to start looking like a bedroom!

Have you tried those Glad forceflex bags? Those are really freakishly strong. I bought a box from Walmart.

Yup. Apparently my kids have pee of steel! I tossed a diaper to Alex the other day so he could throw it away for me.. Unfortunately he wasnt paying attention and it hit him in the side of the head and knocked him over. I dont normally hit my kids with dirty diapers, but it was a little funny.

True - I forgot about diapers . That would totally make a difference. My boy is a truck though - there was a bag that DH told me I couldn't lift - next thing I knew Alec had taken it out no issues at all!!!

OMG - I can't believe this is finally working!!! The kiddos are running around the house like trained little rats completing their chores!!! Pets are fed - teeth are brushed - laundry is all put away - books are read....now for the cleaning part and the house will be perfect!!!

OMG - I can't believe this is finally working!!! The kiddos are running around the house like trained little rats completing their chores!!! Pets are fed - teeth are brushed - laundry is all put away - books are read....now for the cleaning part and the house will be perfect!!!

Out standing!! My kids are watching TV. But hey, its PBS.. That should count for something, right?
