100 pins! Wow ºoº that is a lot!!

So is it selfish of me that I don’t trade? Because I got some nice pins, and I didn’t intentional buy them to trade…but when a pin trader comes up to me and starts “eyeing” my pins I feel kind of weird! EMPD will get to see my pins on Saturday, I actually have two I don’t want anymore that I had gotten from a CM, they were a trade…I don’t know maybe EMPD can help me decide if they are worth keeping or not.

I never trade with other people, just CM's. I've had people ask me to trade before but the pins I wear on my lanyard are some of my favorites that I like to "show off". I keep my traders in my bag.

I don't like to trade with people who are not CM's either. I just tend to run into some mean people. I saw this one lady with a binder full of pins and she had 2 silhouette pins. I asked if she would trade and she said to show her what pins I have for trading. I pulled out 2 CM exclusive pins and she said she didn't like them and would trade with me only if I went into a store and bought 2 pins. She said if she liked the ones I bought then she would consider trading. I just told her no thank you and walked off.

I've also had one lady pull on my lanyard (while I was wearing it) and she said: "I want THIS one!" I told her to let go of my lanyard and then she saw some Asian couple with a ton of Japan Disney pins and got distracted, I ran off. I did overhear one guest who was looking for Herbie pins one time. The CM's didn't have any and I told her I had an extra one (that gift w/purchase one that had Mickey & Goofy riding in Herbie) and I told her I would trade with her. I didn't care what pin she gave me, I just thought it would be cool to help her out. She was so happy too

I do like to trade with CM's though because I get to chat with them a bit and it's fun to find pins that they have.

URRGGGHHH!!! My computer is dead again!!! Not sure what is wrong with the stupid thing - but I guess we have had him longer then any other computer. Yesterday it kept shutting off intermittently - and today it is dead. The little fan will blow for a second - then nothing. Time to take him back to his friends at our little local computer shop - at least they are real nice people and very reasonably priced.





Don't forget about the Dizzy family!!! We have become major pin addicts over the last two years. Sadly, it has only been 2 years but we have 2 books that are completely full and 2 more for the kids . One book is just for pins that correlate with trips we have taken and Stitch pins and the other book is cast member hidden mickeys that we have collected - DD has a bunch of the sets . Then each kid has a book of pins that they like too!




We do the same thing - usually get at least 100 pins before each trip - and usually that gets us through

I hate PC problems! That is a bummer. Hopefully your PC will be fixed. Maybe it's the power supply? That's just my guess. Sometimes when it gets too hot, your power supply/PC could get too hot. I'm not sure if that's a case and I'm not a computer wiz, but am just guessing here.

I remember you told me your DH likes pins too. I like collecting them. It's really fun

I feel so great today, I am in such a happy mood (hint now is the time to hit me up for money..LOL) I don’t think anything can bring me down! I downloaded 4 new ringtones that were Disney ringtones, got Disneyland turnstiles exit and re-entry, pirates of Caribbean exit, Winnie the pooh theme, monorail spiel, and the pogo remix of Alice and Wonderland

Hello,

I felt like I got punched in the stomach yesterday. I was fine and have been doing so well. My laptop is my ex's previous laptop. I bought it from him maybe 2 years ago. There are a lot of restrictions on it (administrator settings) that I have no idea how to turn off. Anyway, long story short, don't know how to remove things because it won't let me delete certain things. I saw an e-mail from his dad asking how his date with some girl went. It was like a blow to the head and just was the most horrible feeling ever.

The friend I went shopping with, I called last night crying. She talked to me and she knows a lot about psychology and took an abnormal psychology class not too long ago. She knows about NPD (narcissistic personality disorder), which I researched and read info on and discovered my ex is excessively narcissistic.

In the end, I felt better having someone to talk to. She said she knows this is so hard for me and she said I was with him for so long and she is here for me whenever I need to talk.

I felt angry with myself, like every time I have a setback, I am giving him power and he is "winning." I hate that feeling. I have been doing so well and was so proud of myself for taking steps in trying new clothes, trying new things and this just set me back. It's like taking 2 steps forward, 2 steps back. I want to be stronger than him, I want to get to that point where I can feel nothing for him and just say: "You know what? Screw him and if he is with someone else, let her deal with his crap!!" I just haven't reached that point and I don't know when I will.

I talked to a co-worker and he said to bring in my laptop next week and he will try to remove those things for me.

Pixie, dear here is my thoughts I know I just texted them to you, but I want everyone to hear what I am going to say. Ok guy that is like that will ALWAYS be like that to any woman he dates, it’s not just you. You were just unlucky and had a ____(jnsert your own words) as a boyfriend.

But hun , you didn’t take two steps back cause you are picking your self up and blooming in your life and moving on. Juts don’t look back, keep moving forward. Because now anything that happens to that girl or him is not your problem, let her find out on her own what creep he is, that is her own dang fault-not yours. He is now her problem. And yeah he is a creep for doing what he did to you, but honey like I said he is forever more going to be like this to every girl he meets. But you will be soo far long gone down the road that you’re not going to care!! And evenmtually he will meet a woman who doesn’t put up with his stuff and she will turn the tables on him--There are woman out there who do abuse men.

He had no regard to your feelings..so you should not care from this point on what happens to him. I know it’s hard to get over someone, but if he was that nasty to you then why even spend the energy..
He is scum, and doesn’t deserve your time or your tears. And don’t even give him the respect he wants, he doesn’t deserve it!! and at least you have friends like me and kel an funnygarcia and everyone else on this thread and we all know that he is looser. And he is another word I can’t say on here also. but you got it in a text. ..let me tell you a story pixie.

When I was a little girl my dad abused me sexually. My parents found out, we went to court etc but he got off scott free as a free man ..and sure enough he did it again and again to other kids and then finally one day my step mom caught on to him and turned him in. and now he is living a solitude life in prison and won’t be getting out anytime soon. Of course he is sorry now that he did what he did, but it all came back and bit him in the behind.

So see even if he keeps doing what he is doing(ur ex) eventually it will come back around..but by then you will be soo far gone, that he will sniffing your dust!

ON the bright side girl, tomorrow we are going to HAVE SO MUCH FUN!, that you won’t be able to handle it, it will knock the hair off your head with all the fun we will have. Believe me I am excited to meet new people and I am hoping my over bearing energy and excitement won’t disgust you! Either way, it is going to be a hot day, I will be in my flip flops u in your sneakers (probably right?) and we will be getting so much exercise that it will even make my mom praise the gods above from all the exercise I am getting !! Rflol.

Sarah- thank you for the support. Every bit really does help. I appreciate it from everyone here. I'm sorry you had to go through what you did and I'm glad that justice was served. I'm so sorry you and others had to go through that type of abuse.


I know my ex is a douche bag. I have all the logic in my head and it's just a matter of having my heart follow! It's frustrating and I am trying. It's very hard and I was told that I am too hard on myself and that I can't punish myself because I am only human and no one is perfect.

I have a therapy session later today and am hoping to just talk with her. I haven't been for about 2 weeks or so and was proud of myself. My therapist said that she can tell I sound happier and that she is so proud of me for trying new clothes and taking that hip hop class.

I do hope that if he hooks up with someone else, that they treat him like dirt because then it's getting a taste of his own medicine.


The friend I hung out with yesterday called me to see how I was doing. She said that he is such a jerk (amongst some other words) and said that I am so much better than he is and what he will ever do. He's not successful, he thinks he is because he has material items: an apartment, a car, a motorcycle but one day he may lose all that. I don't even care about material items. It doesn't make you better or less of a person. It's what inside and what you do that matters.

I really can't dance. I went to a private Christian school where they thought it was "of the devil" so I never learned how to dance. I'm taking it with my little sister at the local YMCA. I only took one class so far but it's only once a week for 5 weeks. I missed the 2nd session this week because I was still sick. I'm feeling so much better now.

Part of really wishes that his co-workers and even this girl, could see who he truly is. I read something in a book on narcissism and it said that narcissists are like vampires- they can't see their reflection in the mirror, they can't see their true image and put on a false image for others. They are soul-less and unfeeling.

Hiya Guys! Had a busy week at work training DD, so not much time to post. Wow, we had several pages of chat...it's been a long time since we've had that many pages.

Of course better than the good ol' days when we would have 15 pages a day!

Then 15 more pages at night.

Hi all and good morning! I'm baaaack! I know those of you on facebook were following our trip but for those who weren't we had fun! We had a few dissapointments but overall it was good.

We had got that really good rate at the grand and stayed there but to be honest I won't ever do it again. My mom and I both have bad knees and they put us at the absolute farthest possible room they could. This seems to be a common thing and it is getting ridiculous. I realize we have been getting "discounted" rooms but they seem to give us the WORST possible rooms each time and it is really lame. The room was smaller than any room I had at any good neighbor hotel and as I said really far so DEF not worth what we paid even with the discount. And then the WOC thing was a total disaster. The food at Ariels was decent. Not spectacular but ok but we went DIRECTLY to the place you are supposed to stand as soon as we could and then were the first ones in to the preferred "standing" area and I found a fence area and thought it would be good as no one could stand in front of us. Only problem is people could stand to the sides and below the fence line and we were kind of off to the side of "center" and by the time it filled up the "center" was packed with people and we couldn't see a thing. And even though they told people they couldn't sit or stand on these planter things they did it anyway and it was just awful. I couldn't see a thing!! So for almost 200 bucks we saw nothing. So it was pretty dissapointing and I think disney really blew it on this one. Basically unless you are down at the very front where you WILL get soaked you can't see much. Esp if you are short! We will try it one more time but I won't do the dinning again. We are going to try the picnic option and then buy poncho's and try and get down front.

It SEEMS like it is a neat show if you could SEE it!

Anyway otherwise we had fun but it was VERY crowded. I knew it would be but it seemed even more than normal and the fastpasses were already 2 hours out first thing in the morning which made it hard. But anyway it was a fun time and we were sad to leave but yet gald to be home. We upgraded the girls tickets to AP's because we are thinking about going back in the fall.

I didn't read back cuz I have a ton of stuff to do but I hope everyone is well!

Gald you made it back. Sorry the trip didn't go as planned. Maybe in a year or so after all the crowds die down WOC will be better. But for now, I wouldn't go within miles of it.

Hi Maj! Welcome to the DIS. Are you going to Disneyland or Disneyworld? 5-1/2 is an awesome age to go to Disney. I still remember my son's first time there, his eyes were as big as saucers looking at everything.

Morning everyone and happy Sunday! I am still pretty tired from our trip but yesterday was nice in that I never even got out of my pj's all day LOL. I got up and did the ten tons of laundry that we had and downloaded my pics although I still need to take them in and get the ones I want developed so I am hoing to do that sometime today.

Then we just basically laid around and watched videos and relaxed. Now today as I said I am hopefully going to do my pics and then later we are going to take the girls to the dollar movies and see clash of the titans.

It was nice to not having to get up early and go to the swim meet. We don't have one next week either because of the 4th so we will get a nice long break before our next meet on the 10th and then after that all we have left is champs on the 17th and 18th. That is a LONG weekend though!!!

Not sure I have anything going on this next week but the following week both the girls and I have dental appts BLEH and the state fair is coming up so mom and I will prob take them for a day.

We are not too sure at this point what we are doing for the 4th yet. I would LOVE to be able to go up to my parents place in Truckee but the house they OWN is currently rented and the one they were using just sold so all their stuff is in storage for the time being till they can get a new model. So there is no place to stay up there right now. It is a bummer too cuz it will be a 3 day weekend!! So we will prob do what we always do which is just hang out here in town at mom's and the kids will swim and we will bbq. My mom's neighborhood sometimes does a block party so we may go to that but not sure.

Anywho that's bout it for me.
