Yeah, I should get to bed, too. I have a hair appointment early in the morning, so don't want to embarrass myself by snoring in the chair, ya know... :rotfl:

Good night! :cloud9:

I need a margarita. 1:30am and no sign of sleep yet. The lights are out but everybody's home and partying! Ok see how tired I am, that joke didnt even make sense.

i have so much to do tomorrow to get ready for camping because all we have done is get the stuff down and we are leaving on Sun morning. YIKES. We have a lot to do. shopping, washing the dishes out, filing water jugs and all the packing. I know it doesnt seem like a lot but it will take me all day and into the late night and I'm SO TIRED NOW! :cloud9:

Ok 3am came and went but I was too tired to give an update on the computer. I woke up at 7am. Actually I didnt sleep because I was so paranoid someone was going to wake up and open one of the doors. They kept doing that to go out back, even in the middle of the night, to jump on the trampoline. We have an alarm and that would have freaked the heck out of me. :scared1: I warned them but one of the girls is only 4 and she wasnt really getting it.:lmao: She was the last to go to sleep about 3:30am. Their dad is coming at 8am.

Jake was ADORABLE last night. He really has a little friendship developing with the 5 year old. They are the same age afterall but she tested in early for school so she will be in the 1st grade. They pulled out one of the popup tents we had and made themeselves a bed inside there. They were inseperable.

In the car the older girls were singing "Jake loves @%@#" (fill in blank with girls name) and it was so cute because he told them to leave them alone but did not get all shy about it or stay away from her the rest of the night from embarrassment the way I thought he would. I mean ALL night she was seperated from the pack and playing with him by choice. It was good or else he would have been a terror to those girls looking for any kind of attention.

I need to go make my shopping list now. I decided I wanted new drinking water containers. I'm a water snob so I need to have purified drinking water. Well, I forgot to pick those up last night and our purifier we have at home only holds 2 gallons at a time. Plenty for us during the day as it automatically replenishes itself but not enough to fill up 2 seven gallon water containers. We would have absolutely no water during the day since its a slow recovery when it gets completely drained.

That means I probably should head to water and ice as well. Lovely. I dont want more on my to do list but this will be quicker anyway.

Did I mention Jeff will be in driving school most of the day so he wont be helping me. He gets out at 6pm. Usually I dont need help but usually I have more than 3 1/2 hours sleep! When I said I dont get much sleep I didnt mean this little!!!

See how tired I am, I'm rambling for no reason.

Have a good day everyone and if you see me on here kick me off!

Good morning, hyenas!
Gosh, I had such a long, wonderful, restful sleep last night! :goodvibes

The birds are singing a happy song, furry little animals are cavorting at my feet and... OK. Truth is that it's gray skies and maybe rain today, no birds chirping, and the only furry animal (other than my cat) I've seen lately was a dead field mouse at the baseball field the other night. :scared1: :rotfl:

But I did sleep well last night. :rotfl2:

I'm off to get my hair cut, then Starbucks so, as DH puts it, "you will be allowed back in the house." :lmao:

Shawna, you are a WARRIOR! I can't believe you survived that night! Good luck today!

So I woke them up and the dad did not come until 9:30. One wanted pancakes, one eggs 2 omelets, 1 cereal, 1 poptarts and toast. I cant remember from there on out! :lmao: I felt like a short order cook but all in all it was fun. they had a blast so I'm really glad I did it. The dancing never stopped!

Wow, that is insane! I'd just say, "We're doing x for breakfast, is that OK?" or "You guys can vote for x or y, majority rules." (Other than toast or cereal or poptarts, which are easy...)

Sounds like the girls had a blast (all night long), and probably are home sleeping it off now. :lmao:

Are Morgan and Jake as weary as you? Durn kids, where do they get all the energy anyway?

I was at some store the other day and DS4 was doing his usual can't-stand-still-must-jump-or-vibrate-continuously, and this guy just looked at him and finally said, "Wow! Where do they get it? I wish I had it!" :rotfl:

Howdy! So I don't know where I got all this energy but this morning I decide to wash all of the outside windows. Then I knew there were a couple of places that had some algae on the side of the house that needed to be washed (namely above the dryer vent & the heat pump). Well you know how that goes!

So I have now washed the windows & screens on 2 sides of the house and completely washed down the front of the house with our RV broom cleaner thing! So now I'm taking a break, having some cheese and crackers and then headed back out to finish up. I have a feeling this is going to be an all day project!:lmao:

What is the deal with the tiny payments??? Does any payment keep the authorities off his back? Do they not garnish wages if he voluntarily pays even a tiny amount??? :confused3

As the Keeper of the Payroll I get to process child support garnishments on our employees all of the time. Basically, some parents enter into an agreement with the state...say take $200 from each paycheck, no matter how much I make. We like those, easy to compute.

Then there are the ones that are a percentage of the their net pay. If they are supporting a "new" family then they can only take 50% of the after taxes pay, if they don't have another family they are supporting then the state can take 60%. Plus they can take an extra 10-15% if they are behind on their child support. Pain in the butt to compute!

That being said, most of the people that are on the percentage basis will quit their job as soon as the garnishment starts. They just simply can't live on the 40-50% of their paycheck that is left. So what I like to do is call the employee being garnished and convince them to call the state and try to work with them, normally they can call the state and say "hey I only bring home $200 a week, here are my bills, rent, etc... can I have a more reasonable amount ganished. The state usually will say, ok, you make $200 per week, let's have your employer take $50 per week out for child support instead of $100.

I've had a lot of employees call me and thank me for telling me to do that. Odds are they just go from job to job, running away from the garnishment, because even though we report them to the state, it takes a couple of months for them to prepare and send the garnishment to the employers. I figure it is better for the parents to finally stop running and better for the kids because then they are getting a steady amount of support. :thumbsup2 The state does review their wages periodically and will make an adjustment up or down if their pay changes.

Now some of the states allow a person to make a certain amount before they start garnishing. For example, Oregon says they can take home about $180 per week before they start garnishing. It is normally tied to the federal minimum wage.

Well time for me to head back out, I'm going to tackle the north side of the house. It's really tall on that side so I know I can't get the upper part washed. However I can do the lower part and let DH get the ladder out and do the upper part next week. But that's ok, it's the back part of the house that nobody really sees.

So tell me what was I thinking when I started this project??:confused3 :lmao:

EASY once I get there! The preparation is a *****! :lmao: I'm gonna hang out in my hammock all 4 days and when they are hungry I point to the cooler! :thumbsup2

I have survived and the entire outside of the house is clean.:thumbsup2 The outside of the house didn't look that dirty, but it's amazing how clean it looks now.

My neighbor came up and invited me to sit in her hot tub, so I've been soaking for the past hour or so. Figure I might need a few ibuprofen's tonight as well. What was I thinking??

Oh and once I started on the back windows I decided I needed to move a few things, so I cleaned the entire back deck and porch off and rearranged everything.

Of course I did nothing to the inside of the house today, so I'm thinking if I'm not to sore tomorrow I might shampoo the carpets.

puckerup: I did nothing today.. Well.. I snugled with the beasties and watched the Parent trap, and we watched the Hannah Montana concert.. Which is something they both have been anxiously awaiting. AND we baked up a cake for daddies b-day. Lemon cake with lemon filling and lemon frosting. YUCK. But its his favorite.

Good Evening Hyenas,

My bf and I are waiting for a table at Red Lobster. We didn't know what else to eat and we are both starving. I picked up my bf from his motorcycle class. He was really happy and had fun. They issued a bike and they rode around a driving range. One of the coaches thought my bf had been riding for a long time. He said he was the best one in the class and he also scored a perfect on the exam. :) His last day is tomorrow.

So how r u all doing?

Hi Megan.:) I really should do absolutely nothing tomorrow, but I guess it just depends on how sore I am when I get out of bed tomorrow. It's been a long time since I did physical work like that all day long.

I have only lost about 6 pounds, but I must be losing fat and gaining muscle. I have a pair of shorts that I bought a couple of months ago, I had to take them off today because they kept falling down when I was washing windows.:lmao: :thumbsup2

I'm doing great, how about you? DH took the kids camping at the Washougal MX national races, so I'm enjoying a nice quiet house this evening.

I opened up a can of turkey chili and ate that for dinner.:lmao:
