okay, so hubby came home awhile ago now.. I had to grill him.. what did they say? how did it go? what do you think???
It was a short interview, based on 15 questions and one of them asked if "It's imporant that the students like you"
He answered : it would be nice but I would rather they respect me and the rules of the classroom first and liking me is something that may happen later.
The Dean who helped with the interview said it was the best answer they had heard all day.
AND they had been doing interviews all week and today, she had a cancellation for this time slot and checked the applicant pool -- finding hubby's she called right away.
I take this to mean.... they had interviews but the other candidates didn't quite fit what she wanted. Why else would you check the app pool mid day?
anyway, he will hear back next week either way.
It was a very short interview.. but they sounded excited about some of the work he has already done. And one of the workshops he attended and implemented the techniques in classroom (Capturing Kid's Hearts) .
